RAN A 13.5 AT THE TRACK

Went to the track last night and to run the GXP. The best run of the night was a 13.5. That was w/o the meth since the shop hasnt installed it yet. Timeslip below. All comments welcomed.

stock gxp tires with stock psi, i know if i drop the psi I might be able to pick a few tenths.

Nice numbers, if you had dropped the PSI to 19, your 60 foot time would be much better also.

I believe I launed at about 2000 rpm's. I also has the esc off.

The stock rear tires need to be at 19-20 psi and you should get some better numbers, just like Joe said.

Very solid numbers!

Is your car an auto or stick?  I have an auto and with the ESC off I launch around 2000 to 2400 (depends on the temp outside if I get wheel spin or not) and the car pulls hard through 3rd gear.  Most things I've read show the gearing between the auto & stick to be about the same, just curious how well 4th pulls in the manual trans cars.

Interesting. Stock, my car's power really seems to die in fourth gear. It'll pull in 4th, but not in time for a 1/4 mile run. Revs are too low after the shift, and the finish line comes just as it's just starting to pull again.

I need a tune, but I just don't have the funds for it right now...
