Having seen dyno runs on an auto before the stall converters really mess with the dyno, you are not seeing a really accurate number (should be higher) but the amount of change should be correct. Nice increase.

215 ft-lbs??  I'd go demand a refund.  325TQ X .85 = 276TQ

Even at a 20% loss its 260TQ

Both paid for...woot! :)

Looks like this Dyno is stingy which is the case with some, especially Mustang Dyno's
The main thing you want to look at is to see if there is an increase in the before and after which he did get.

Dyno #'s should only be used to assess weather a mod works or does not work and where the power is located and for how long and should not be used for anything else period.  You can have higher #'s than me but I could still be way faster down the Qtr mile.  It's all where the power is located and the longer it's there that makes the difference.   Your really better off going to the track so you can get an idea of where your at speed wise, reaction time wise and time wise.  Just my 2 cents though.

Your both right the car's manly ran at this place are mustang's. And i do believe this dyno shows #'s a little low. But it is about the diff from run to run. And a dyno run has nothing to do with a QTr Mile run. But the % of change is the important thing here. That % should hold ture for all our cars. The place i had the run done at did upgrade there software in the last two months. So now they can test for ft-lbs. and boost, which wouldn't read over one bar for some reason. SO next time if it's working i will post those #'s too.

I saw Chucks car dyno'd with the same tune and setup as a manual it read 40 hp lower because it was an auto, the stall converter in the car just pisses the dyno off, don't look at the numbers look at the change LIKE I SAID BEFORE.

Hey we will see what happens when we go to the track.  Joe is putting something together.  1/4 mile time is the main thing I am interested in and comparing my gm/westers  tune to Joes Westers tune.

If anything I expect your car to be faster Chuck, it just doesn't show the correct numbers on the dyno because of the stall converter. Should be an interesting day at the races as they say.

Chuckdoc, What are you doing 0-60. I did a 0-63-4.60 this morning according to my Dashhawk. I have the gmpp tune. I am getting a Wester tune this week. Mine is also an auto.

Wow, thats really good times.  On the day Joe and I tried to get a 0 to 60 time, we just kept spinning the tires.  Now with the probeam, I do not seem to spin them so much so need to try again.  We used dynolicious program but will either go to the track or try with the dashhawk.  I will post unless the times are embarrassing.

I don't have Dynolicious  or a track close. So I just have to brag about my Dashhawk times even tho I know it is not dead on accurate. But it sounds good. I do have the Solo 3inch Cat and the Solo Mach exhaust. That may help a little.

What phone platform are you using. There is a Dynostorm for the Blackberry Storm phone on Verizon. I have Verizon and it would be much cheaper for me. Dynostorm is the same as Dynolicious made by the same company. I would like to compare the results of Dynostorm and Dashhawk.

Anyone try using the Aeroforce gauge to check 0-60?  I am tempted to try it.

i suck at launching so those accellerometer things stink for me. i'd rather do a "street start" rolling

for road course driving, 0-60 is not that interesting, because you don't really launch. i'm most interested in my 20-120 speed :)
