I can also upload the GMPP tune for a 07 auto GXP in the tune repository.

Give it a shot, but it may not make it through.  I tried to post the 2009 manual Redline and it they would not put it up because it is a GMPP tune.

I tried the other day and said it would need to be validated before it would be put in the Repsitory so we'll see.

Has anyone made changes to the MAF frequency with HP tuners to "dial in" there tune better to possibly allow for more advance in timing?

Here's a nice tuning guide on how to accomplish that http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26756

I have a rough idea in my mind but i rather wait till i get it on a dyno.

lots of boost. but not much more MAF than Lyndon's tunes
I'd love to see some logs from Lyndons tune, but lets save that for another thread.

a great idea but I need to know what to log, dash daq might be able to do it but I won't know untill I see what those perameters are, the thread you linked doesn't give me that info

I can do , knock, I think fuel pressure or something to do with the fuel rails but I'll have to check and a bunch of other stuff, I can't log boost but so far all I get is 19 steady

Hey shabby iirc you stated you have big pulse widths in mid-range because there are some differences between read and commanded lambda. Isn't the differences because of MAF tuning?

What I'm trying to say here is you might have a different airflow than your MAF reports so read AFR is off the commanded AFR?

I'd like to see the answer to this question ^^^

Also shabby, do you know if you can adjust the NLS activation point with HPT? Or if you raise the rev limit, does the NLS point move with it?

I thought about that but my stft and ltft are pretty much near zero, if you check the pics of the logs in the first post you'll see that the afr is close to the commanded afr in the stock gmpp tune but on the rich side in the modded gmpp tune, and the only difference between those was the added boost... some 30psi in the midrange.

Kenny: you can't change anything with hptuners, just shift before your new higher redline and you'll be fine.

I got a question shabby. Didn't wanna pollute panther's NOS thread.

Quote
I noticed the same thing with the gmpp tune, the dal's are extremely touchy however i can command any amount of boost that i want now, without the gmpp tune i can only hit 22psi tops.

In my quest to understand, why were you only able to hit 22psi, when Lyndon is tuning cars without GMPP to 25+ psi

Doesn't Lyndon use his own software to tune the ECM but then uses HP tuners to write the tune to the ECM?
This would explain the reason for the difference since HP tuners does not unlock all the parameters in the ECM as of yet and may never unless HP tuners decides dedicate the time and effort to do so?  From what I see there are a few tables for the GXP that are not unlocked with HP tuners for our car.
