Well, I'd be up for a caravan, but I'm looking for free lodging with family as many places as I can swing it (Friday night with Mom in PA, Saturday night with sister near Nashville?). So I if I drive I'll probably end up on the road alone.

As you and I were discussing this weekend, after considering flights and times I may fly out instead. I have a while to decide so I'm still weighing my options.

If there will be an autocross event I'll probably go. The 1200 miles should take 4 stops for full ups. Yeah, I'll be driving alone.

I am thinking about adding a new shifter to Miss Red Eagle at the Nationals in Austin, Texas. I like the one SHiNY had installed.

Just registered for Nationals. We are going to be flying.

Lindsay and I are looking to move to Austin in the next few years so we're going to spend much of the week and the two weekends before and after looking around at different neighborhoods and apartments. Also we will be trying to visit some potential employers. I have contacts at Apple down there, and need to do some networking to find people at Sun/Oracle and Dell.

Because we are going for more than just the meet, and will have a lot of other things to do, we can't really spend 4 full days driving back and forth, and the cost of driving and flying are pretty close once you count gas and hotels needed for the drive.

We have a friend who lives in Austin so we'll be crashing with them instead of at the hotel.

As for runs, if anyone has open passenger seats we might wanna jump in for one of the short ones. Also signed up for Sunday night dinner and Friday tubing. So we'll definitely be around

I want to come check out the road course event so hopefully we will see some of you there.

Awesome that you will be at Nationals and that you are thinking about moving there. I and Carol look forward to meeting you and Lindsay. We have cousin's who live in Austin and it will be good to see them as well. I am looking forward to a great time. It will be an awesome event. For one, I can't wait to get back to Texas! Spent a lot of time there as a kid.

The group dinner didn't pan out allegedly and we didn't know so we went anyway. So haven't really seen any Kappas to take pictures of. Probably won't until Tuesday.
