It better be, because attaching a BOV to the outside of the hot pipe is gonna be cramped.

Yes, it's too long to be the hot side and with this compound setup, the hot side already has a ton of stuff going into the space.

Antonio

Who made that cold side pipe for you?

It's the 3" cold pipe :)

was made locally that's meant for my old set up

btf might end up fabbing me a new one, now that I have a different sized intake manifold.

But we'll see.

Nothing was done yesterday since btf and his apprentice arrived at 4am here.

They'll start working at 1pm today.

You would know.

Actually Kelu added the best speed mod possible when we were there.  Several of us got to witness Madalina smoke Kelu off the line while driving a Dodge Caliber full of baggage and four adults and Kelu driving his GT.

Not much happened today due to us finding out that the car will be FEATURED in a Magazine! :)

I'll keep the name of the magazine anonymous though, sorry.

so BTF decided to polish the raw stainless steel pipings of the compound kit the whole day today.......so they will look purdy for the camera.

The official camera guy of the magazine came in the afternoon to take some photos of the build.

So basically today.........other things that have been done were relocating of wirings, power steering, etc.......

An hour ago, BTF started assembling the compound kit.

Tomorrow install of the kit will begin.

anyways here are some photos:

Exhaust Manifold

hot pipe from small turbo to big turbo that has the flange for the 60mm wg and 38mm wg

4" downpipe

GT4294r and GT2871r turbos

BTF started assembling the kit
Exhaust Manifold connected to gt2871r with the 60mm wg

gt4294r plugged to the kit

installing the big turbo..........and the cold pipe that attaches the big compressor output to the small compressor input

Kit is fully assembled by BTF:

We should make BaldBook to replace FaceBook.
:D

That is a crazy setup.  I am really looking forward to just seeing it mounted in the car.

I can't remember, are you still going to run the stock ECM to control all of this?

BaldSpace?  lol

The compound kit will be mounted on the car today.

Yeah, I'm still using the ECM...........and Split Second computer.

And I already decided that I'll have BTF trailer-up my car back to Upstate NY tomorrow.     Because even if we're able to start the engine tonight, I will not still be able to drive the car since it will have TONS of BUGS to get rid of.   There's really no sense of having the car here, and just stay and pay for storage space.............and I can't OVERSTAY at Joshmass' garage.  Financially, it will be cheaper for me, if I'll just have BTF bring it to NY.

I'll have him take care of all of the issues........and have him tune it.   During tuning, I'll prolly come up to visit him...and drive my car back here.

Compound turbo kit and WERKS Race Intake Manifold installed!!!  :)

BTF will tow my car back to his dyno/fab shop in Upstate NY......to fix all the bugs......and dyno tune the car.
So I'm hoping I can drive the car end of July 2012!  :)

The kit will be removed so they can be sent to Swaintech for coating....then tuning begins!  :)
