I think Kelu was searching for one of those in the rest room.  Elff was helping by turning the lights on for him.  Or maybe it was all just a plot by Madalina to distract Elff so that she could shock him with that little kids toy she had on the dash of her car. :poke:

If I was going to Elff's Halloween party I know what costume I would have to have, it would scare the hell out of someone we know.

UPDATE:  Walbro 400 fuel pump to replace the lpfp.....will not fit, uggghhhh.

we'll just use a walbro 255lph fuel pump since it's just a drop-in pump for the lpfp replacement.

Walbro 400 fuel pump will be just dedicated for the auxillary injectors.

Update:

BTF is still working on fabbing the secondary fuel tank that will be placed inside the trunk.
We are hoping that everything will be finished by the week-end after Thanksgiving.
Then tuning begins....

for the past few months, wife and I have been very busy moving into the new house and unpacking.   Also been attending pregnancy/baby classes.

Also working with Median Magazine to feature my car.   They ended up having a 5-page spread  article for LIPSTICK.

I'm hoping that the car will be on the cover of Median Magazine once the build is finally finished, and have another feature that will include more about the build, fabrication, tuning, dyno and  etc.

MEDIAN MAGAZINE  will be the best source for local high performance automotive news in the Northeast Region of America. All the top shops. The big builds. Products and services from local companies. Tech articles. It's all gonna be there.

you do realize that bates does not make main studs nor bearings.... right? lol

Looks good. Glad it is getting the attention! maybe you can have a sky of mythical lore similar to the WOTM supras or the Full Race GTRs :)

Also did you ever figure out what the actual motor compression is with the k1 rods? (not that its a bad thing to be on the higher end of compression for your project... more ponies that way!)

My K1 rods as well as greaseyjockey's and BTF were custom made by K1 rods....to produce the exact same compression as stock LNF rods (exactly same length).

I know that the other k1 rods that most LNF owners bought off-the-shelf are a bit longer  and producing a tad higher compression tho....

I communicated to BTF lately since I may have some money again....so he can start working on it again....lol

Here are some updates:
Last month, he actually started the engine.  He revved the throttle, the motor rocked over and snapped the nipple of the canister valve since its so close to the ABS.  so that needs to be worked on.

He also discovered that due to the system size, that the custom end tank of the radiator needs to be modified due to fitting issues.   This will be a dual pass radiator system.

He also found out that the drainback slope issue to be solve with the primary turbo being too low and up front.

And lastly having to go around with lots of hot stuff of the compound set-up that needs to be managed in order not to melt important wires/hoses/etc.

custom intake manifold w/ port injectors installed.....with custom 3" intake pipe
also using a 2.4 throttle body

Vibrant Quick release boost braces will be welded on the pipes from primary turbo to intercooler pipe which uses 2" to 3" coupler.
these will keep coupler from popping off at high boost pressures.    Every 10 psi of boost = 80lbs of pull force on 3" pipe.   We are planning to go around 45-60psi :)

but everything else we'll use 3" Vibrant vanjen clamps

we need to really think about all these kind of stuff with this kind of build.   Every lil aspect will make it last longer

Just some few updates:

Well only another 47 heatshields to fab and a gajillion miles of wiring to sort.   Due to the tons of hot tubing inside the engine bay, melting of important wiring is the biggest concern.

The oil drains are now .085" wall aluminum tubing, the power steering system and reservoir was relocated and reservoir swapped out for a WRX reservoir.

The water neck on the top of the radiator was changed because it was rubbing and the glass coolant tube and charge pipe weren't parallel to each other.

Mounted the secondary fuel pressure regulator directly to the rail instead of on the frame (that's a no-no as per racing rules).  Now working on a bracket for the fuel pressure damper that has been free hanging on the DI pump thus far.

Brackets are getting welded to the top of the intercooler core  since it  precluded the use of the crash beam, there is nothing holding the top of the front bumper cover and it flops around

The pass thru for the engine harness between the primary header and the low pressure turbine feed is the trick here, it's fabbed from aluminum chargepipe tubing with a flare mouth aimed at the radiator fan to not only heatshield, but aircool the insulated harness
