Yeah I dont have any of that issue with my bov.

It stays shut and doesnt purge like you guys describe.

Elff, do you have a a boost vac gauge? if so, what vac are you seeing? I see 19 "HG at stop and coasting down the highway i have 20"HG (no load)

Also are you guys finding that the antistall is fixing your issues?

If Elff or Spikey come up to Ajax in July, we can swap my LH IC pipe in and figure out exactly what is going on.

My vacuum is 18.5 at idle and 16.5 when stopped at a light.  I have to look what it is when cruising.

Steve,

Did you decide if you are coming to Ajax? I really would like to experiment by putting my cold side pipe on your car and changing vacuum tubes from valve to valve and see how it reacts.

So elff, now that it sounds like you are dialed in...are you having the issue Spicy has or no?

I posted that in the other BOV thread.  I'm getting confuzed
:D
here is what I posted
As far as the RPM drop off.  I do get that when I come to a full stop, but while driving I am not experiencing it like you do Steve.
But, that's because I have a manual and I tend to keep the RPMs up via downshifting to stay in the powerband.
I can replicate what happens to you if I just push in the clutch without down shifting.
So heres to the anti stall helping.

Just took note today that at cruise, my vacuum reads between 20 and 21.6 in/Hg.  I am going to rule out a leak because that seems to be the normal numbers.

A vacuum reading is not going to indicate a leak, pressurize your ic pipes if you want to find a leak.

Thanks shabby...I might have to try that if the anti-stall kit does not work.  The guys from Synapse think it will, since we are a MAF regulated car.  I really don't think it is a leak, but is more of what you mentioned earlier in the thread.  Let's hope the anti-stall has a good effect on it.  It really doesn't bother me at all now, but I would like to get that slight RPM dip to disappear.

Sure Kenny...maybe one day we can meet up and check it.  Let me try the anti-stall first, but I am starting t doubt it is a leak because myself and elff have the same issue.  Supposedly there are about 10 or so of these 2871 kits on the road...I wonder why nobody else with that kit has chimed in at all???

Steve

I was waiting to get HP tuners to really look at it.  I also didn't really notice it until you pointed it out due to my driving style.
I think it's more apparent on the automatic.

I definitely agree with that...I make it a point to never text when driving...way too distracting and I have seen so many close calls due to people on the phone and not using the appropriate hands free devices.  I actually think the fine for it should be much more.

Steve

Check out this post on SkyRoadster.
Quote from: Roxa
I had ordered the BOV w/o the anti stall valve but every time I would let off the gas the car would get down to about 900 RPM, then suddenly drop to about 500, studder, then shoot back up to 900.  Added the Anti-Stall valve and it fixed that issue.

We will be all set

Double actuation is all fixed....needed a slight tweak on the BOV preload tension:)
