Yeah the standing around in the parking lot looking at the cars and chatting with people is always my favourite part of any meet or gathering.

Chop Top, the reason they harp on getting the sign up money upfront is because they need it to set up all the 'free' meeting rooms and hotel hospitality.

Gee critter ...when was the last time you organized a national meet? And got FREE meetings rooms w/o some kind of "catch"?  just sayin.....

I think he meant free as in how hotels try to make it seem like they are helping support the function but still charge for it.

We didn't have a Kappa for Kansas City, but we did go to Nashville, Vegas, of course Denver, and Austin, just so you guys could visit my sisters bar.

We didn't go to Canton, because the Mallett was in the paint shop.

We are not going to Ashville, it is just too far to drive, for old people.  But, we will be in Flagstaff next year.  How about an international meet in 2014, someware in Canada.

Going to your Sisters Bar was super cool, even Mr. Gravel with the TDOT couldn't stop us!!!  :thumbs:

I'm pretty sure they paved another road that you can take instead of 40!  It may be as boring, you just get to be bored lllooonnngggeeerrr.
