I just hit Limp mode for the second time.
I fired a P0108 the other day, then next day Limp
First time was definitely loose bolts.
I backed off the Wastegate to the stock location and everything is now working, but I've read that this may not be the solution.
Apparently there is a bad run on Intercoolers where the stock ones mushroom.

I'll post up my findings. If so, I'm going to see if I can purchase an aftermarket one, but have the dealer install it for free.
Vs. Them replacing it and installing the replacement for free under warranty.

If so, I'll go with Dejon as I have his CAI and IC Pipes. Might as well stay with the same vendor as it's a good product.

Actually the dealer wouldn't be replacing and installing a new one for free, they would be getting paid to do that from the manufacturer. Unfortunately I doubt they would agree to your deal. Nice idea though.

Welp
The Intercooler was fine. No mushrooming on mine, so the plot thickens.
I did remove and inspect the sensor on the CAI but didn't check the 2 bosch sensor connections.
I'll drive it around a little more to see what happens.

The P0108 indicates a manifold absolute pressure barometric pressure circuit high input
which doesn't help me in the least bit.

To much wastgate can cause this, and the intercooler is VERY easy to change, even easier for you, you are closer to the ground and have that "magic tree" thing going for you

. I have pulled my bumper a couple of times takes about 15 minutes, then 4 bolts on the intercooler and a couple of hose clamps, put the bumper back on. Shouldn't take more than 2 hours with simple hand tools, you may need to trim a little plastic with a dremel behind the intercooler.

Is this the magic Cel people are getting with the adjustment?
I thought it was the P0101 code.

I have to say, since going back to stock, the spool response is definitely faster.
I initially thought the response got a little worse when I adjusted it in and now going back seems to have confirmed this.
I'm going to leave it here for a while?

One of these days, ChuckDoc and myself are just going to wander under everyone's car's and start snipping brake lines

So the plot thickens.
Last night the car ran great.
Take it to work this morning. No Boost, but it feels strong.
At lunch, I pop the hood, disconnect the Map and both bosh sensors, check them for dry rot, corrosion, dust etc
They all look fine
Reconnect,
Car is back to normal and Boosts like a fiend

Tonight I am going to examine the splicing done on the GMPP Bosch sensors.

you have the GMPP upgrade? The MAP CEL code is the one on the IC pipe drivers side. I'd pull it off and make sure the thick blue oring was used.

Just Pulled the sensor and checked the butt connectors. No corrosion, they were solidly connected.
I have the nice fat Blue O-Ring on both sensors and they were slightly oiled as they should be. No Dry rot and a nice snug fit.

I'm miffed and will now have to wait until the car goes into Limp Again.

Did you check the tightness of the clamps on the throttle body? Mine was bleeding off until I tightened mine.

Elf, I had the same problem and Joe re tightened the sensors and I have not had a problem since. Knock on wood. Turned out the dealer installed sensor was not tightened down evenly.

This may have been a fluke but no codes or limp mode since. I will keep checking in though.

I agree, we should stroll under all those overly tall members cars.

I have all Dejon pipes and T-Bolt clamps and recently re-installed all of them thinking that originally it was a leak.

Lyndon originally thought it was a bad sensor. I know there are a couple of other people on the BB with similar problems. It might just be an intermittent computer glitch related to humidity and temperature therefore hard to pin down.

I do not even know if mine is fixed. Just have to wait and see. I know turning the car off for a couple of minutes, fixes the problem so it might just be an overboost condition.

It is frustrating I know but it seems no one has come up with a diagnoses that allows for fixing.

Definitely have boost now

Problems have not occured again ever since recieving a new tune from Westers.

25 PSI! That's just with the Westers tune! Careful that boost gauge doesn't melt down!!!

Welp, went into Limp mode today coming back from my Parents.
I felt it immediately and knew what it was, so then I switched the DIC, tried to get into the boost and only hit 5psi.
I immediately pulled over, popped the hood
Disconnected the Driver IC TMAP Sensor
Reconnected it.
I'm now fine.
Very odd.
So this was almost 6 weeks with no issues. I wonder if the plastic clips just wiggle loose????

I have this happen quite regularly. I think the disconnection you did was just serendipity. Turning the car off for about 3 to 5 min works for mine. There was a theory of going into no boost due to an overboost situation but that would not explain my situation as the last time it happened was a couple of minutes after start up. I had not even wound the engine up yet. This seems to happen a couple of time every couple of months with no error codes.

Everything hose wise is tight.

If you figure it out. Please let me know.

I've never had the turn the car off thing and wait work.
So far every time it has happened, it has required that I touch stuff under the hood.
The lack of error codes stinks. I wish I could get something to show up to help figure it out.
But if it goes another 5-6 weeks again, and then is able to be resolved with the same fix, I'd have to think it is something coming loose

i had thee same thing and i took off the mass air sen and spryed a little electrical cleaner on it..let it dry.. put it back in and its beeen working fine for me...

The last time I had this happen, I took off all 3 sensors and it corrected itself.
So I've been trying to nail it down to just 1 of them.

Gonna thrash it tomorrow to make sure it's still sound.
When/If it happens again
I'll be able to run some logging on the following

Barometric Pressure
Intake Manifold Pressure
Mass Air Flow

That might help me narrow it down a little more.
Once I get my new iPhone mount, I'll get a baseline while the car is working normally

Interesting, that we both have similar symptoms. Turning your car off momentarily did not work or did you wait 5 min? For mine, turning it off and back on does not work but waiting 5 min does.

Well finally threw a check engine light. Have not gotten
read yet. Very frustrated as so many have had same no boost
problem with no reliabe solutions. Going to dealer on we'd
but now on my dime as warranty up
