Went to a great local guy on fiberglass to fix my cracked Norm's rear diffuser fascia. Left the car to his garage (I normally don't left my car to any shop/garage/dealership) for a day, my diffuser is not fixed BUT I have a set of eyelids for front and back done  :yay:.

Tomorrow he will start fixing my diffuser and some other "small" details.

Pictures soon.

Went to get my Vreds put on but had to reschedule since the plastic rim guard on the machine was gouged and the shop didn't want to scratch up my rims.  I thanked them for actually caring and making sure there equipment was tip top before attempting to install the new tires.

i called the Greek dealer to check prices for some parts (rear brake rotors, clutch and pressure plate, shocks).
the total price i got for them is................. 1740 euro - around $2200 !!!!!!  :banghead:
i know i won t be needing them shortly, but these are consumables and in a year or two, i will eventually have to replace them.
slightly off topic: After what s been said in this forum, i believe that stock Bilstein and H&R springs have a fairly good result (i got feedabck from KW and BC owners too), so i will go on with the stock springs.

so, from that ebay store, i got springs with shocks, i will try to sell the springs, pressure plate and disc, rear brake rotors, maf, map, floor mats and 3 opel GT emblems at a total of 880 euros, including trasportation (hope i will clear customs with no additional taxes)

I checked to see if it will run with the intercooler have covered in water, very deep unavoidable puddle, it never missed a beat, next I will try fording a river, or should that be pontiacing a river.

Those tire stripes are kind of narrow are you sure he did that with his Kappa and not the coaster brake on his bicycle?

Went and get my car back:

Fixed the Norm's Diffuser crack, removal of Opel badge, just a small rear lip

I have eyelids for rear too but no pictures, I will make new pictures after painting.

I'm so pissed that Solstice has so many aftermarket parts compared with Sky/GT and I'm just trying to catch out.  :gaah:
