Opels don't have a speed limiter in the ECM.  Skys and Solstices are limited to 155 in the ECM (unless you have a tune.)

Bone stock speedo showed me 245-248 km/h which translates in 153-154 mph, and nothing more even I kept her some time at that speed, to me looked ECU limited.

I pulled it out of a snowbank, washed it, drove around a bit, and then put it under it's cover.  Boy that HP felt really good under my foot

Installed the fuel pump insulator.  Helps with the ticking noise....some.  Guess what is really needed is moving the fuel pump to the front of the engine, which ain't happening.

All Electric fuel pumps are made to Pull the fuel not push . Sounds like its starving  or straining for Fuel . Could be Clogged or line pinched somewhere.

That make it drag limited, you don't have enough power to overcome drag

No, this is a well documented issue with the DI high pressure fuel pumps.  That's why GM came out with the insulator.

Headlight was intermittent. Found a wire had pushed pi of the receptacle. Waiting for Rain-X to dry now. Seems like in this weather I put a fresh coat on every couple of weeks.  :)

Officially I haven't done anything to the Sky at the moment.
But yesterday, I spoke with Spicey and he helped me place my order for my
Norm's Fiberglass Rear fascia with diffusers. [Like the following Picture]

It's going to arrive painted to match the car. [White on White]

So now I have to be patient while Norm works his magic.

It's been a matter of moola.
Being Married, I have to mix car mods with home upgrades.
We have a new kitchen and I just got the tax return, so I purchased this before the money was spent.

With all the rain and snow in the Northeast, I only opened the garage to look at her, then ordered a v2 Illuminated Windrestrictor and Door Sills, Custom travel bags, Probeam, Tunnel Brace, and AEM CAI.

When all these arrive, I will have some serious work on my "girl" before the spring thaw... At least I will get to spend time playing with her (if only in the garage). LOL!!!

Finally ordered the DDM A-Pillar and 2 Aero Force gauges.  Disassembled the old pillar and removed the OnStar and Speaker.  Just eagerly awaiting the package from DDM now!
