Thanks for the link, it had the part number. I bet that check value is a common type if we could figure out the part number for it.  Offhand does anyone know if the lines are 1/4", 5/16", 3/8"? I found some disconnect tools at a local place but didn't want to buy them all (I'm guessing 3/8 though).
Yep.  3/8"

Installed the factory 08 rear cupholder in my 09 vert. I had to make a small brace for the rear attachment point. Now my wife and I can both enjoy our Timmie's coffee  !

I did John but I don't have any yet. I hope I get some tomorrow. By the time I got the car half cleaned up, it was dark tonight.

Installed my lighted doors sills. Being a base model I had to cut back the tape back to clear the raised letters on the factory sills and add an extra layer of tape on top of what was left. Now it's sticking good and the electrical was very easy to do. Looks OK.

...what preparations do you do when winter starts and then what procedures do you follow when spring comes? (i mean disconnect battery etc etc ??)

I can tell ya' what I do for the winter. First I give her a bath and a good wax. Then put stabilizer in the fuel and fill up with premium, from a "top tier" station. I also change the oil and add 10 psi to the tires although I don't think I will add the extra air next year.

When I get her where she's gonna rest for 6 months, I disconnect the battery, make sure she's clean and throw on the car cover.

I come back in the spring, reconnect the battery and fire it up.

Hey Geos GXP, when  you (and many more members) store your kappa for the winter, what preparations do you do when winter starts and then what procedures do you follow when spring comes? (i mean disconnect battery etc etc ??)
My storage prep is pretty close to SOB's, but I get a little more in depth.  In the past, I've had it in storage for over a year with no problems.  Here is what I do:

Drive it until its almost out of gas.
Add a bottle of fuel stabilizer.
Fill it up with top tier premium.
Drive it for about 30 miles to make sure the stabilizer gets into the engine.
Put it up on jack stands to keep the pressure off the wheels.
Disconnect the battery.
Spray some protectant (CRC 6-56) around the engine compartment.
Coat the leather with conditioner (Leather Stuff from PBW).
Coat the seals with conditioner (Leather Stuff).
Coat the tires with gel (Bold & Bright Gel from PBW).
Put the top up and lock the doors.
Wipe the exterior down to get any dust off (mine is usually well waxed already).
Put a cover on it.
Close the garage door and shed a tear...

I don't change my oil before it goes into storage, rather, I wait until I'm going to get it out.  The first thing I do after taking the cover off is drain all the oil out.  I figure I can get more of the old oil out since its been sitting for so long and has drained down into the pan at that point.

Something you may want to consider for long term storage is inside vs outside storage.  A car cover left on will buffet in the wind and will cause a lot of micro-scratching especially along angles and edges.  If you are going to store it long term, its best to have it in a garage...

Put Streak on stands, had some fresh sticker A6s mounted, stripped another 9 pounds off the car, and looked at stuff in preparation for a clutch job after NEXT weekend. Gonna mount another aluminum seat in on the passenger side, and that will complete the "diet". After the light flywheel, Streak should be nudging 2900 pounds, maybe a touch under. We'll see.
