After getting them repainted and getting the clear bra material re-installed on them, I re-installed my recessed grills today.

I know the picture's lousy but you can see them in a week at the MM.

Liar!  It's pouring!

Shut it! There was exactly one hour today when the sun was shining and it was 75 degrees. It just so happened to be the one hour I was outside for lunch. Today has been an all around good day :yay:

Drove the Sky alllllllllllll day today!!!  it was 78 degrees and beautiful!  every spot we pulled up to received numerous comments on the car :)   and it happened again! "what type of Lotus is that?"  LOL!!!!
I think since the whole car is Vadered-out, it makes it even harder to make a distinction....

Tonight I decided to install my Mishimoto mini transmission cooler.  turned out nice with a little help from a good friend.

I got it to the dealer and had them re-installed my GMPP Tune .They have to order the air monitor for my wheel . I also was at the GM Allison Transmission Open house. They had a cut-away version of the LNF 2.0 and the specs chart of what s in it. was fun

Pulled the valve cover off during the winter to get it powdercoated and now that I have reinstalled it with the old gasket it appears to be leaking a tiny bit on the front edge.

Off to the dealer tomorrow to order a new gasket. Hope they don't soak me TOO bad.

yes.  derived from the term 'storm-trooped' when a white car has all black accents.  'Elff's' car is storm-trooped.....

Got some JL Audio stuff today:

Evolution ZR650-CSi  Component Speakers
Evolution CS350x Coaxial Speakers
XB-BTU Battery Connector
XB-MGLU Bolt-On Master Ground Lug
HD-RLC Remote Level Control

All I need now is to order my speaker cables, power cables, RCA cables, some sound deadener, and wait for my tools and my HD900/5 Amplifier and Fuse Block to come in and I'm ready for my install.

I supposedly can use the base motorpool garage to do it over a long weekend...

Not to DERAIL the Topic But; If you looked up under the Pinto's back end . The gas tank is about 1 1/2ft foward of the bumper above the axle. If you look under Our Cars it is about the same Area . The Biggest problem is the Force of the Rear Impact and Sparks that set it off, think about it.
Thanks and Back to the Subject at hand

It would have to be from Star Wars to no more than 30 minutes into Return of the Jedi.
After that, everything goes to hell with Ewoks, Jar Jar, blah blah blah.

LOL. Agreed.  Although, I still enjoyed Return of the Jedi for the most part.  The 3 newest films were absolutely ATROCIOUS!!!  They don't even compare to the original trilogy!
ok, I digress.... now, what did you all do to your KAPPA today????  I'm taking mine on a road trip!

For some crazy reason I woke up at 4AM remembering that the TPMS on the 09 was informing me I had over inflated the rear tires.  So I got up went into the garage and got out my fancy electronic air pressure (FEAP) and proceeded to let the air out of them, checked the drivers fronts and found out it was under inflated.  Turned on the compressor, filled it up, went to measure it and the FEAP gauge face was completely blank (stupid battery).  Went back outside and rummaged in the Jeeps glove compartment for the good ole school standby tire gauge, back into the garage to measure the tire.  Then over to the passenger side, measured, put air in that one too and re-measured.

Then decided well as long as I up I might as well check the 06s too and discovered all the tires were under inflated so filled them all up and measured.  Than on the way out of the garage picked up the FEAP and the damn thing was working again.

Crawled back into bed and the wife said; where'd you go, to check the tires.  Your crazy she replied, what’s your point I replied.  :idiot:

Crazy? Yeah we've all been there...   :D

Didn't do anything to the Sol but my 2009 Malibu doesn't have the TPMS, didn't come with them. The tires looked a little low and as I don't generally drive the car, my wife does, I thought I would check the tire pressure.

The tires were all low. They should be 30psi. One was 20 and the rest were 25. If you don't have TPMS and even if you do, check the tire pressure at least once a month.

Now I sound like a public service announcement.
