I would have guessed 42 since that is they answer to everything.

60 miles down, 440 miles to go.  I am not sure if I will do autocross on Sunday unless they are broken in correctly by then.

How's the feel after the crossbar install?

Pretty sharp with the Probeam and LV Cross bar and BackBone. I have to take it out without my wife in the car to get the full testing done. I got home at 5:30 in the morning and installed the cross beam. It took about a half hour.

O snap, didn't realize u were getting tires so fast.
What's the rating on those?
I've never heard anyone say anything but good things about the pilots.
They are also very popular in the sport bike world

Solo exhaust arrived today.  That means a date with my HPT and the dyno next week :)

REALLY wish I could hear someone's 2.4L with the NA Single exhaust AND the Solo NA hi-flow cat installed.... I hate installing a catback without doing a hi-flow cat, it's always more effective with a high-flow, but I'm concerned my Sky will sound like a teenager's honda civic....   HATE that sound!

My solo hi flow cat added a nice throaty sound to my magnaflow exhaust
But
It is far from being noisy or obnoxious and is pretty quiet at cruising speeds.
I think you would be fine

Popped the trunk so my ride  along could get her purse out.

Since the trunk was open , raised the top so the seat would not burn her bare legs when she got back in.

She was a very nice lady. :D

Bond

I would think it would be similar.

I can't remember if Jeremy's solstice has a Hi Flow Cat.  It has a nice sound to it.  If not, and if adding the Hi Flow cat makes it the same level of more noisy as mine [<-Nice engrish elff]  I think it will be fine.

I'd say, take a risk.  It will definitely help with your tuning, and with your future SC plans.

I remembered that right after I posted,
Good thing he has this information in his signature
*********
Focuztech Tri-Y Header & hi-flow cat
Solo Performance SQR-2
*********
With the above, His car sounds aggressive, but is no where near too loud.
My opinion is for you to get the Hi-Flow Cat.
At a bare minimum, you will want to add it when you get the SC.

The difference is in the turbo, it dramatically changes the sound of the exhaust. The 2.4 usually sounds better, to me.

Wow! Thanks for all the feedback guys!  I miss a LOT when I sleep in!  Haven't slept-in this late in years!!!!

Anyone have a sound clip or youtube of their exhaust setup?  SOLO has a video of the NA-Single, but not with the cat or headers setup :(

Also, I forgot,  I keep reading about the SOLO hi-flow cat 'failing....'  that worries me too.  Especially the guy who's engine blew from the SOLO cat clogging!!!

CT-Solstice has an NA with the high flow cat and my stock GXP exhaust.  Not loud at all and he loves it.  Critter's is a bit louder than my GXP with the stock cat and Mach Shorty but it sounds really good.  No teenage Honda stuff this.  Actually, I would say that about any Solo exhaust.  They are different and the Street Race is loud, but they all sound good.

Have you checked out http://www.kappaperformance.com/forum/index.php/topic,351.0.html?  Bunch of sound clips.  Also, call Steve aka Spicy3480, they guy on the first post of that thread.  He is great at talking you through the decision.

Thanks for the link Treeman!!  but.... again, tons of clips for the 2.0L and few of what i need of the 2.4L.

oh man, I HATE when people do clips of the exhaust while the car sits still... useless in my opinion. (as useless as doing a 1/8mile rather than a 1/4!!!)  I need to hear the exhaust under load, full throttle through the gears.

If you go to the photo set that DBG posted of MMM8 ( https://picasaweb.google.com/110279536370773342279/SMMM8?authkey=Gv1sRgCOKrzeK809ORugE# ), there's a video near the end of part of the tiki bar run, as taken by GJ.  They are following CT_Sols' car (white+green stripe) and you can hear how cool his GXP exhaust sounds (on his NA car).

Shiny are you saying that Critter is less grouchy, as if possible, latter in the day?

Critter and I had this discussion at the MM. He has a hi flow cat and the SQR2 (Mach Shorty) exhaust.
Just trying to do my part...

Mods: Lose the chicklets, VentureShield, Dual horns, AfterShock spoiler, Weathershield cover, Lil Chromies, Red calipers with black Solstice stickers, Opel GT antenna and Solo GXP-RCD exhaust with a Solo hi-flow cat!
