and played around with my Kiwi Wifi and Dashcommand running on my Nav unit. I used my development iphone 3G which is jailbroken. It lets you mirror the apps to any screen via the dock connector. Its cool but the app turns off my music so its still a work in progress.

I actually drove my for a change!  Drove it here to work and I'll be driving it home!  It needs a bath bad though!

Could have done a car show tonight, but no time to give it a bath. :(

At last I got the window channel for the rear window on the La Mans Top cleared out and dry fitted the glass. Everything looks good. Now all I need to do is get the sealer and finish. Looks like I may have it done before we head out to CA. next week.

Finally had a chance to do my calipers and rotor hats.

I'll post up the total process if anyone is interested, but here are the results:

It was pretty easy, just wire wheel a lot, and clean a lot, and tape a lot!

I have decals coming for them in white.

Not only that, but it was 94° when I finished!

Jim

A caution on the decals, they get dingy after about 6 months or so.  I re-did mine and even clearcoated over them, but it didn't help.

I really need to completely re-do my whole calipers.  It's been about 3.5 years since they were done initially and they've taken a beating.  Touching them up just isnt working anymore....

I replaced my plastic OEM turbo-to-intake tube with a metal one from Dejon.  This will make sure the oil return nozzle never breaks off again.

I spent painstaking hours with tools, food, beer, a camera and some random parts.  This is what I've come up with:
