LOL!  Pulled up to the restaurant Valet and they parked my Sky in the 'showcase' area with a Aston Martin Vantage and a Audi R8!!!!  what a compliment!!!!  The owner bought us a round of drinks and compliments on the.... "what kind of car is that?"   LMAO!!!!  so many great memories getting racked up with this car!!!

Also, took some pix of the new setup today with new black custom fit seat covers, door handle decals and windshield wrap on the Sky Forum...  check em out!  so happy with the results.

Finally! I talked to Tony about doing a door handle decal @ Denver, when he was installing the tulip panel wrap and windshield frame wrap. Now I know I can do that to the GXP, until the handles break...then I'll replace with full black. looks great!

JBond,
Car looks great.  You should post some more pics here.  Your stripe reminds me of Kelu's.  Was he your influence?

Thanks guys!  Kelu's 'batmobile' is very cool, but I wanted a more subtle stripe setup, one stripe was enough.  I actually got the idea from the single stripe on some of the Lotus Elise's and Exige's.
I like the flat-black because it's more subtle.
also, I am really impressed with my cover-king seat covers too at only $200 a set!

Finally got around to buying fitted luggage from Kappasphere for my long trips.  I bought two sets to fill the entire trunk...one for me and three for the lady LOL.

LMFAO!  I just told her what you wrote and we are balled over laughing.  She goes, "I know, I'm so bad."

Picked up a set of stock shocks this weekend for all the mounting hardware.
I got my Koni shocks today and took apart the stock fronts. Will drill them out and mount the Koni's with a set of Eibach springs.
Then move on to the rears.  Hope to have everything swapped out this weekend.

Elff, hope I was helpful enough in your endeavor.  Just take your time and never rush a suspension job.  You are going to love the Koni's.  a fantastic shock, worth every penny in my opinion.  Cannot wait to see pictures of your Sky with the suspension done!  It's going to leave so clean!  Pretty straight-forward to do other than having to modify/drill bigger holes.

Appreciate it.
Snapon Bob was extremely helpful too.
And I gotta give mad props to GJ.

Doing the work will be easy.  Have had plenty of practice on the jeep and this will be the third set of shocks and springs on the sky.

Just gotta find a place to do the performance book alignment when it's done.  My local dealer has been having issues with their alignment rack.
Think I'll give Phoenix performance another shot and see if I can get them to return my call this time around.

don't do the alignment for awhile after lowering it. it will take some time for the suspension to settle. if you align right away, she'll settle & then go back out of alignment again.

I removed the chrome surround in the headlights today.  That is now the second time I have pried the lights apart.  And I swear the first time was easier!  Maybe it was because I blew my heat gun out while putting the first one back together.  :)  Midnight run to the 24 hour walmart to finish it.

Ohh, and I epoxied my stupid headlights back together since the ceramic broke on one of mine.

After having the BC coilovers installed last year on the 09 coupe I finally got it 4 wheeled aligned yesterday.  It's kind of nice having the wheels sitting straight up and down again.  Then drove it over to our mechanic and asked him (pleaded) again to contact his guy to have the other set installed on the 06 vert.

That's a really good point.
