I removed my EiBachs.
Turns out they are for a 2.4L engine Sky, not the Redline. Kinda bummed about that. Also broke a Front Stud when taking off the driver tire. Must have cross threaded it. I'm waiting on a part. It's an easy fix, more so on the front because it doesn't have a half shaft.
So I was thinking about getting some ZOK springs, but decided I wanted to experiment a little. I took my old springs and put them on the new Koni's
So I am the only Kappa owner to have the shock/spring combo that I now have.
GMPP Spings with Koni SA's
The GMPP Springs have the same Spring Rate as the ZOK springs, but the check height is greater. Translation, the sky is not as low as a ZOK equipped car.
Here are the specs.
LNF Z0K Solstice
Front (3100N - 37.0 N/mm) Rear (3200N - 50.0 N/mm)
GM SPO Perf Parts
Front (3450N - 37.0 N/mm) Rear (3350N - 50.0 N/mm)
On Friday I ordered completely new Brake Kits for the Front and Rear from TCE.
Fronts are Wilwood DP6 differential bore calipers
Rears are Wilwood Combo Parking Brake Calipers
Slotted rotors at all 4 corners.
They were a little pricey, but stopping is the most important part of driving, so I said WTF.
