You washed and rolled your niece?  I'm not sure she appreciated that, nor is that a good way for her to make a good impression at potential law schools.  Additionally, it may be disrespectful to her and the monuments.

installed the backbone. can't say the job is done, cuz the exhaust came undone at the cat, so tomorrow have to get his front end up to wrestle that back together. installed the DDM t clamps, and pass side charge tube. driver side is back off again, so I could shut the hood overnight. tomorrow the not a Carport tent goes up to get it all done, sposed to rain  :banghead:
with luck tomorrow's progress will be better...but I do 'look' like a grease monkey...shower time!

My Sol and I just finished Cruise night in Bloomington. Met 2 new kappas...one is a lurker! It was hot, hot, hot! Got a little fried, but no biggie. I never did hear the final count but there had to be about 300 cars. The lot was packed tonight! Great show!

I am now sitting at the bar at Flat Top Grill having a Tiger Beer. Not bad.

Today I took my Kappa to Home Depot to buy new garbage cans... Luckily Mum agreed to meet me there and drive them home for me in her truck. She was excited because she told me "I got to park near the fancy cars. A Lexus, a BMW and a Sky!"

What a great Solstice weekend!  Went to Winchester, VA for autocross yesterday.  Big lot, signed up for 2 slots cuz they had discount pricing to get us out there.  Course that was really hard to learn but a ton of fun once I did.  Good combo of slow and fast sections - 1st gear and almost 3rd gear stretches.  First time I autocrossed since the DDM alignment and installing the LV front beam.  The car is now definitely better than me!  Time for me to do my part.  Between the Backbone, the ProBeram, and the LV beam, it is a rock.  And the alignment allows the suspension to work much better.  Very predictable and easy to control.

Today, took my son to camp on N. MD.  My wife was not feeling well so I could take the Solstice - amazing how much stuff can actually into the trunk with the top up!  Once I dropped him off, I dropped the top and took the very long way home.  Some beautiful countryside up there and some really great roads!

In other words, I spent more time with my Solstice than with people!  I loved it!

Hope that doesn't mean I'm weird.......!

Washed mine today to get the PEI red soil off it. Drove her through a rain storm yesterday and she was a mess. Looked good after a bath but 100 miles down the highway the bugs looked as bad as the dirt had previously. In old Quebec city tomorrow.
Just trying to do my part...

Its half of a "shocked" forum smiley. Got it from ihatestickers.com.  Found out about it from VW driving friends since they like to plaster their cars with stickers. I saw that and figured itd be great spot to put one of those smileys. They have a whole bunch of other stuff on there too that I can blow alot of money on but have no where to put them.

subjected Kenny to another round at the fubar dealer...no word yet, seems they can't detect any oil that mysteriously appears coming out of the tail pipe, made them keep him another day...before I bring GM into the discussion... Headed to the small dealer in the area with BoB, to have his leaky axle seal checked, and to check out their service dept...

I finally installed dual oil catch cans. I needed to build a mount for the cans and I kept the check value in place. I ran some clear hose from the drains on the bottom to down behind the front bumper for easier draining. I'll let everyone know how much oil I get in both cans.
