Sorry, couldn't get a picture. They changed it yesterday and when I picked it up today it was already packed away. The guy who did the test yesterday wasn't in today so I didn't get a chance to talk to him and ask where the leak was. The guy at the service counter did not know where it was either. But at least we know one more IC has gone bad. I will try and call the tech later in the week and see if he can tell me where the leak was at.

Thanks Arabas.  It really is like a new car.  Didn't realize how much performance I had lost even when it was working "right" i.e., no CEL and what looked like normal boost.

Were you able to (or can you) get a photo of the damaged IC?  There is a guy on the Sky Forum/BB that is trying to collect this kind of info.  I think his screen name is GS Stage I.

Congrats on the successful repairs!

Just to clarify when I asked Kelu about online vendors I meant ones that were based in Europe so that shipping wouldn't be a major issue.

SA: no such things around here, UK doesn't have kappa, hard to surf unknown language sites like german, french, spanish and italian. In europe the web is not so well developed like in US, so no such sites like CED or parts online in EU.

AFAIK GMPP or Z0K can't be ordered from any country from Europe, Kuprito comfirmed from Spain, Arabas from Greece and another guy from Italy, so ... no good

I dropped mine off at the Body Shop to have the rear repaired.
While it is in there I am having my Cobalt door handles and my rear and interior badges painted black.

Did you get the black handles or primered ones?  I got the black ones but they were really closer to a very dark gray and painted them matte black.

They were a gray primer.  I am having them painted the GM black to match the Backsplash I have painted.
This will complete the de-Crome process for me and begin the De-Vinyl process.

Cool.  Only chrome I have left is the interior door handles.  Not sure how to remove them without breaking them so guess I will need to paint them in place.  Did you paint the windshield surround?  If so, did you go with black or body color?

Nice ride u got there elff!!!
personally i would paint the windshield frame and the mirrors (along with their base) black, same black as the nickel parts, so as to make a strong ...what is the word, what is the word....????? antithesis (greek in latin characters but i bet you can understand it...)

contrast is the word...  :D

I've thought about doing that and the Rear Spoiler as well.
I've been thinking about getting a more aggressive rear Spoiler for it as well.

IMHO the oem rear spoiler is the best looking.
not too fancy, not blocking the rear view mirror but still giving an agressive look

USPS flat rate international rocks. Any vendor that doesn't want to use for international shipping is just being silly.

They won't do it cuz they lose the tracking. Then the person can complain on the other end that they didn't get it.

Today I have installed Z0K bars, I was missing a bushing and I re-used the bushings and the clamps from the FE3 ones.
After 1 week, I found the missing rubber, damn, I will go ahead and mount it next time when I visit the service.

I had a nasty clunk noise after installing the Z0K bar coming from front of the car when going over bumps and sometimes when cornering and the front of the car was moving up and down, discovered one of the end nuts of the front sway bar was loose, tightening it fix the sound, I was so scared about the sound.
Damn, this happens when you work on improper garages and improper tools, next time I will do them at the service directly.

I have coilovers, backbone and Z0K bars but I'm missing ProBeam, I mailed DDM about 2 weeks ago asking the price for shipping of the ProBeam, no answer    :idk:. I'm having mixed feelings when considering to built a ProBeam locally.

The lack of power upgrades made me to work on suspension and I must thank to everyone who helped me (I don't want to make nominations because I might forget someone and that will not look good), lately I was a little bit bored about my car having same power for more than 1 year but suspension mods changed the car completely and i'm back in love about it, i can't wait to drive it all the time.

Time to work on the tires (still not 100% decided) and maybe wheels.
