My right hand is safely in my left, and I suppose the guy bending over is looking to not block the people behind him in the photo.

Or were you not really asking? :idk:

Well, today I ordered a batch of 25 O-rings for the TMAP sensors since the GM part number is so obsolete it's not even funny.  Yesterday I installed Dejon cold-side IC pipe and found out the O-ring was cut.  Put it back in and it didn't leak, but I don't like running something like that.  Dejon doesn't have the O-ring anymore, so McMaster Carr it is.  Twenty five O-rings.  Anyone needs one/spare ? :)

I also ordered a set of 20x8.5 black/chrome Status Grinders and 245/35/20 Dunlop SP Sport Maxx TTs.  Had to take the advantage of family pricing (lower than TireRack and sans shipping), add a rebate from Dunlop, another rebate for the tires for using CarCareOne card and another rebate for the wheels for using the same card.  On top of those, there is a "no tax" sale.  Discounts out of the yin yang.

Yes, that's a picture of Status Grinder.  It's funny how my friends and brother are all split on its looks.  It's a wheel with a very simple design (2 spokes), but some of them see it as a ghetto wheel.  Some could actually see/appreciate the simplicity.

They do look quite wild.  There is a video on Youtube of a Solstice with 22" chrome/chrome Vision Morgana.  It's another wheel with the same concept; but I think the Status Grinder has a more "mechanically-proper" look.

I did try to get plain inserts (without the "STATUS" script) but it's unavailable.  I just got a call that the available PCDs were 5x120/5x4.5, 5x4.5/5x5, and 5x120.  So, they are going to add/drill another PCD 5x110 to the one with 5x120.  This actually will work for the best since my CTS-V has a 5x4.75 (5x120) PCD.  The CTS-V and the Kappa share the same wheel dimensions (except offset).  The wheel will also be ordered with the highest positive offset possible, I was informed 62mm but we'll see.  The wheels are 2-3 weeks out.

I'm going to see in the near future if painted inserts are available so they can be painted the same color as the car (Brazen).

LOL.  The love-or-hate reactions are normal.  There is no middle ground with this type of wheels.  I see the simplicity and I like the in-your-face image it projects.  Very simple yet very bling.  I can't wait to see what the car and the wheels look like with key-colored inserts.

Actually, I considered a third wheel of the same concept, but it was visually too busy; Vision Morgana and Status Grinder are much plainer when compared to Greed Deuce.  Out of these three wheels, the Vision Morgana is the simplest.

My first impression when I first saw the Vision Morgana was "Preposterous !".  The wheel looked very counter intuitive.

Rest assured, I will change the license plate to reflect the new wheels ;)

Apologize for the direct response. Sly Bob is right. You did not ask for opinions. I wouldn't want them , but if you like them, MORE POWER to YOU!!

Just think you could sharpen the leading edge and slice and dice as you drive down the road :) :poke:

That's why there were references to "cutting" in Youtube videos regarding these wheels.  This is the kind of wheels to be driven slowly (ideally at idle speed in first gear) to show them off ;)

Man, it's so liberating to be able to buy wheels based on looks alone.  The Z06 wheels were chosen heavily based on saving weight and performance improvements.  It was always a race of stuffing the widest, the lightest, and the strongest wheels under it (it runs 18x11/18x13 CCW C10 for racing and 19x11/19x13 CCW SP500 for street).  About the same principles with the CTS-V and the M3.

When selecting wheels for the Kappa, I could NOT care any less about weight.  Width ?  Heck, let's find something not so wide so it fits without headache.  Brake caliper clearance ?  No problem there, calipers are small (Z06 and CTS-V have monstrous brakes).  Offset ? Made sure the offset was as high as possible.

Good find.  At first I was thinking why would anyone want to slap a kappa   I like it but I'm not sure my wife would allow me to wear it, she always gives me grieve when I wear my softcore Betty Page t-shirts as it is.
