In comparison to a WR. How does the Fly Swatter standup on decreasing the wind buffeting in the cabin?

Got the girl back from tuning.  Made 290 torque but the clutch was slipping horribly so we need to fix that before any real power can be measured.  Feels good to drive the car again.

I didn't want to chime in because I don't have experience with the Flyswatter yet, but from past posts it seems to work very well.  Most folks don't like it because you have to drill into the tulip, you have to remove it to raise the convertible top, and some think it looks ugly.  I do have the WR version and it worked well, especially with both windows rolled up and you don't have to remove it to put the top up.  But for me the flyswatter will work better with my new tonneau cover and I have already drilled into the body of my car for three snaps for the tonneau cover.

Once I get the Flyswatter installed and give it a try, I will comment on how it compares to the WR as far as wind buffeting in the cabin goes.

OOOPPPPPSSSS! I am sure Dave will rectify immediately. I know how this feels to be let down when a box arrives and is missing something...

I feel you Jimmy! i can understand how it feels when a car asks for money and time and offers nothing in return.
maybe it's all down to psychology, i mean don't let it get to you.. just take it easy.
on the other hand you could always sell it..

That's because you're not actually driving it. Every time you get in and drive, you are reminded of why and how much you love that car.

I hope you get to drive again soon.

Yeah get that thing fixed. I assume you've contacted DDM to see what they can do to get you back on the road.

Let's face it, the car isn't any good the way it is right now. When it does get fixed, who better to enjoy the permagrins but you?   ;)

You will take a bath selling it without an engine, so you need to put the engine in it anyway.   Once it is in you will forget about all these dark thoughts you are having.  I am going to change out my tires this weekend so I will be ready when you are.

Then it will be KAPPA hauling time, KAPPA fixing time, pulling KAPPA home, followed by that tranquil

I agree. Try not to let it get you down too much.  :ghug:

As a side note, I submitted an article in our company newspaper about all the fun we had at the Washington DC St. Patrick's Day Parade. I will post when it gets published.  :)
