SKYJACK is right -- you can clean the chrome wheels with Windex and they just sparkle. :D
That's all I've ever used to clean my chrome wheels.

Woke her up from her long winter nap. Blew off the dust off the car cover, uncover her, pop the hood, check the oil, air filter & air up two flat tires , sitting on the rims :banghead:. Time for new tire :yay:. Start her up, runs fine & let her idle up to operating temp. Put her up on the 4 post lift. Change oil & filter, install the DDM Pro-Beam, remove, grease & reinstall front & rear sway bar bushings. Give her a good look over from the top to underneath. I think I need a

Went to Marlboro, NJ and met up with Mike and Tom. Picked up a couple windshields, and had an excellent Sushi lunch, ON MIKE!

I don't care what anyone says, Mike really is a great guy for setting this up, and for holding them for us until we could retrieve them.

Jim, did you get the couple hundred pounds of fish you were going to buy in Elisabeth NJ before going to Mike's house?
Must of been a stinky trip, and now all those cats hanging around Mike of Marlboro house....

So you decided that Soju was a drink of preference???? Gas prices really suck there, but with the price of oil going as is I expect us to be at $5 per very soon.
Yuk!  Can't do soju.  Its way too sweet, reminds me of rum with sugar added...

I try to fill up on base when I'm on one that sells premium.  The base that I was on (Chinhae) only has regular and you need a issued keycard to use it.  The base I'm on (Mujuk) doesn't sell gas for POV's at all, so I'd be stuck riding 2 hours to Deagu to fill up for $4 a gallon.  I haven't done the math yet but it seems a little counter-productive...

I did, but fell short. More like 175 pounds, including some octopus, Cod, Red Snapper, and miscellaneous meats of the Portuguese variety!

Ordered SOLSTICE DECALS for my wheels. Hope they're still in business. I always liked them on my other wheels.

Careful with him Susan... there's been a lot of 'no response' and 'no product delivered' posts about him over the past year or so.  Maybe changed now - hopefully it has.

Were the stickers ordered from BullRun Tony?

Re-wired my Windrestrictor to the rear BrakeLights.
Now that I'm driving with the top down again, I like it to Light Up when I'm sitting in traffic at a stop light.
It's funny how many times that's started one of those 30 second to 1 Minute Red Light Conversations.
They always seem to end with a comments like
Really adds to the car, Car looks amazing, blah blah.  It even got me an invite to a local car gathering that I didn't know about.
Apparently the manager of a speed shop in Exton is hosting car get togethers and really want's me to bring the Kappa.
Pretty Cool,
I'd like to once again thank our SITE SPONSER  Windrestrictor.

I get the same thing Ellf. Had a bunch of kids chatting with we me asking "What is that?" and "Wow, it's really cool."  It's a little scary when I'm in the Bronx, but comforting that they're not interested in car jacking me!

I used the Dr. Colorchip kit to touch up the chips on the front bumper and lower front hood.  For the most part the chips disappeared!  Those on the plastic bumper were harder to deal with though.  I could fill in the crater, but most impacts had a raised edge around the crater that was difficult to paint/hide.  I took pictures (Kelu!!), but most had lousy focus and would not impress anyone.  After going over the whole car I was very happy with the results, it exceeded my expectations.  My Solstice is painted Victory Red.  I did about 50 chips of various sizes.  I have enough of the kit left to do twice that many more.  I bought the base kit, $39 + shipping.

Kelu, I've been discussing this with Sol Asylum (several others have offered assistance too :yay:). He is going to be helping me with that on mine at the mod meet. Maybe he'll let you watch ;)

I have a few chips I'd like to fix too!  Any tips in using the kit?

And for the clown army, no, I'm not going to try to fix my recent date with a guard rail with this touch up kit

GJ, they say you can buff off the excess after 2 mins to 2 hours.  I gave it just over two minutes and it would buff off quickly.  Perhaps too quickly for some chips as it would pull the paint out of the chip.  I redid some and waited 10 minutes and got a better result but had to buff longer to get the excess off.  Depending on the chip size and depth, it is a trial and error, but you will get the hang of it.

I had both doors open on my garage with a good wind coming in, didn't smell anything, but an hour after I was done I started 'smelling' it.  I would use a 20" box fan within 10 ft next time to keep the air moving.  Doing the bumper I was down on a creeper with my face a foot away, so that may have something to do with it.

High potential for success while inhaling tasty fumes?  Nice!  I'll google and see where to buy local or internet.  I do have a few extra fans, just in case. :)

As for my Kappa today - it's sulking in the garage.  The adjuster called about half an hour ago, but I'm stuck on the couch watching the Masters.  I'll call him back next commercial break.
