While it's great that they made the offer, the truth is that their pricing BEFORE shipping is equal to that of other vendors WITH shipping. No one's going home hungry....

Their price being $75 for #15901300 instead of MSRP $100, you can find lower than that?

JL

Could you please find the part numbers for number 28 (both sides) and the wire harness 90 degree cover for the wires coming from the door to above the ECU and plastic plugs that holds it against the frame.  (They get removed when you install VDi hinges) I can't find mine)

Thanks

#28 - Bumper, Hood Stop, Upper Tie Bar - 21098949

It says Qnty 4 - not sure if that means it comes in a 4 pack (this is one of the parts I'm going to "spare")

I've gone over pretty much every view this thing has to offer trying to get a clear indication of the other parts you're looking for - are they in this photo?

OK - you're not going to like this - the illustrations I have state that that part is only included with the complete door wiring harness.  There are 2 model codes that I can't quite decipher but I assume they are particular to a level of trim, and they list for $132 and $137 each for left and right side.... 15840345 & 46 for one model code and 15840347 and 48 for the other

I'd look to a salvage yard for these!

No - as stated, those are the PNs for the complete door harness.  While the images show the components, the part numbers only show for the entire assembly (which includes something like parts 8 -> 11)

Can you get me the part number for the stock turbo assembly? Is there are part number for just the turbine housing?

I need to buy a stock turbo. If anyone has a used one they are selling, let me know.

Is this for the resurrection of your other project?  I have a spare turbo if you just need a "loaner"....  If you need one outright check eBay as they seem to come up for sale a lot.

AFAIK the stock turbo is PN 12618667

There was one here:

...and a couple other listings on the "common" Kappa boards...

Thanks!

Yes, this is the resurrection of a different project. I'm not sure if a loaner would work because it may not be returned in stock condition :) But it might be a possibility if I just use it for some dimensioning.

I hope you're making a T3/T4 adapter for the stock manifold :)

I actually don't like adapters too much. If everything falls into place it will be much better than an adapter :), if it doesn't there will be nothing new on the market. :(

P.S. Not to get this too far off topic, FYI - The turbo's list price is $1351.60, GM Parts Direct has it for $983.96 (brand new).

If you can wait/work at looking for a couple weeks I've seen new units going for $300 - $450.  Mine has 12k miles on it and looks brand new and I paid $250.  You might also consider dropping a note to Dejon, Hahn, ZZP, and DDM and see if they have any lying around from conversions/upgrades.....

Would it be much trouble to see if the BCM part numbers are the same for SKY and Solstice?  I suspect they are, and the difference is in the programming, but I would like to confirm.

I show 14 part numbers for the Solstice alone - so I'm going to need to know what year you want to compare, and ideally what models of each (e.g. Solstice AU0) - I would guess it's because there are different trim levels.

If you give me your VIN I can get the most accurate parts.

If I were a guessing man, I'd say GM will simply use the "top level" (i.e. most opted) BCM as the replacement part for both models.

I have an acquaintance that has access to probably the same stuff you're looking at.  What I show is that SKY has only 1 part number for it - 25945048 - and Solstice shows the same part number, but with different service tag numbers (I think that's the term) that must be based on options.  I was comparing '08 to '08.

While I was in there, I was trying to compare part numbers for the gauge clusters, but I ran into trouble.  I could find part numbers for the SKY cluster:  15918805 for KPH (U19) and 15918804 for a US version (those for redline models with a 160 MPH spedo).  I couldn't find a part number at all in the system for a Solstice cluster, but even if I could have, that wouldn't have helped.  They're identified as entire assemblies instead of individual parts anyway.  i.e. if you just wanted to order a new clear plastic piece b/c yours is scratched to hell, you couldn't.  You'd have to spend the ~$500 and buy a whole new cluster.
