take a photo of the whole edge of the side that's out of alignment.
- If the front lip is up too, then there is a pad on the inside that needs to be adjusted down.
- If the front left lip is flush, then take a photo of the spots behind the two hinges and note if there is a small dimple rising directly behind the hinges.
- If there is small dimples, then the rear deck lid has been sprung back too far and needs adjusting. That is more complicated.
- If no dimple, then like GJ said, brute force is required to bend the lid. Two people, one usually support the front left as the other pushes down on the rear section.
