that is the definition of 20# of stuff in a 10# bag.

Epic package from BTF. I still cant believe all that fits in there!

that's why it took him a very long time to build.

about 3-4 revisions of the kit.......to perfect it.

What's the gray line in front of the Throttle Body

I think if you zoom in you'll see it's the wire that goes to the stepping motor on the throttle body

20 pounds in a 10 pound bag? Boy you aren't kidding Miller!

LIPSTICK is all strapped-up heading to BTF Racing for completion and dyno-tuning.

Also, when you get everything done please feel free to post in my new thread "Official 2012 Dyno Thread" results. In the legend I specifically put an option for your compound setup.

I think Antonio should mention his previous setup in that topic also, is nice to have him there being one of the first.

Antonio, how's the car coming along?

Antonio, how's the car coming along?

Bob, all of my hot parts (turbine housing, dp, wastegates, etc) were sent out to Swaintech for ceramic coating.

I just sent BTF all of the remaining parts that were left at SMG (hpfp, bolts, etc).

Once BTF has the hot parts back, he'll start re-installing them back to the car. Then he has to fabricate brackets for the new custom radiator. Then relocate other parts away from the heat.

BTF is assuming that he'll be done with all the fab work and relocation by the end of this month.

Then will break-in the engine..and the new clutch.

then tuning begins.

You currently are the only non functioning vehicle in the poll.

Since the poll has time, I am going to wait until you post video of the car driving down the street before I cast a vote.
Otherwise I am going to enter mine and put in the details

UNLIKE THE OTHER SKY, this car is more than pretty piping and works,

nope, there are a couple of cars over there.......also in the build process

Well then

SKY888 · « **Reply #345 on:** July 15, 2012, 10:29:22 AM »

Oysters dont produce precious diamonds overnight.......

And YES, your bet that trollstice will be finished before mine is correct

after my compound build and fabrication....the tuning will be the next BIG hurdle.

It's not like I'm just slapping a bigger engine that has their own aftermarket ECUs that has all the control options available.

I'll be using HPTuner with very limited controls.........plus compound set-up hasnt been done on most platforms. If you ask Boostlogic and other compound owners about tuning their cars.......you'll realize it is a very complicated process.

Patience is a VIRTUE

I realize how complicated it's been and it's an awesome project.

I am just busting your chops trying to keep you on a timeline!!

Get to work BTF,
Put us Bald Guys on the map!!!!!

SKY888 · « **Reply #347 on:** July 15, 2012, 11:01:53 AM »

it will suck big time after all this wait.......then I suddenly just give it all up, and not continue with the build...lol
since I ran out of money.....and just focus on my baby and my house.....hahahaha!
