No they are not, there is actually 2 screw positions on the passenger side of the chassis. On the 2.0 LNF the 1st one is empty the second one has what you are describing.
I use the 1st one that has no wiring attached to it.

There is a lot of wiring in the passenger side in front of engine and above water pump area, on the drivers side their seems to be a 1/4" tubing parallel with the frame....
I'm sure their might be away around that, (fingers-cross) that's if I'm looking at the right area....

The LV Kappa Front Chassis Brace was designed to avoid a problem with the 1/4 tubing that runs parallel to the frame.
At least on my 2007 GXP is there, the pain would be if you do not use an extension when trying to get to the bolt that resides underneath this tubing.
The designed clears the tubing by about 1/4 of an inch from the top of the hose and the other flat plate fits in between this tubing and the side of the rail.

It took a lot of testing to get this product right. All the testing was done on My 2007 GXP, I do not think the tubing would have changed positions from year to year.

I just went out and looked again, this time with a trouble light. You are correct, on mine that 1st spot was hidden by the mass of wiring harness down there. It looks like it'll fit on a 2.4 without any problems at all!

I am going to post the picture from my 1st post on this thread.
If you look at the picture you will see the wiring harness and also my LV Kappa Front Chassis Brace in there with no problem
One of the things I have mentioned in the thread, is you MUST unplug the radiator fan connector, so you have a easier install of the Brace.
What makes the installation a lot smoother is the following, have a friend or partner stand on the passenger side to help guide the brace as you move it towards that side.

My thumb is mostly healed now, but looks like it belongs to Frankenstein...just in time for my BDay on Halloween....perfect...

Go ahead and install it it should take you less than 45 minutes.
The instructions were in the packing slip with the Fedex shipping info.

UPDATE.
FEDEX has informed me that 5 of the 10 LV Kappa Front Chassis Brace have been delivered today.
I know DEEPBLUEGXP is one of them so hopefully we will have a report back soon.

If you can get someone to help you grab the other end of the Brace, as you guide it from the driver side it will go a lot easier and quicker.
That is the only time you will need them, the rest is yours.
Hope your thumb survives the install.

It was a pain in the ass tightening the bolt under the brace on the drivers side since the air condition line is so close to the position of the bolt. I'll drive tomorrow to see if there is a difference

I thought this was perfect timing to post this picture. It happened after a day of racing. What you are looking at is the passenger side where the hood meets the door. The paint chipped off because of the flex in the front end. THe other side of the hood has paint chips in the same area.

A tip for those that have not done the install yet.
You can pull up on the air conditioning line while you tighten the bolt. Also as I recommend you need an extension with a small ratchet. Even with all of this is still a pain, but you only do it once.
In my case it was done at least a dozen times, while testing the fitting for the LV Kappa Front Chassis Brace.
By the way there is a difference and although you may not want to do it, take it off after you have driven with it for a week. You will then realize how much different the car feels while you drive.

I used a 3" extension, 3/8 drive universal and a 12" extension with a 3/8's drive ratchet so I could clear the engine when trying to tighten it. My AC line was in the way to begin with so I had to push it down a little to install the brace. I took photos of the install and will post tonight.

Was this on your 2007 GXP?.
Because on mine there is actually about 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch by design where the Brace clears the AC line.
Meaning the bottom of the Brace has a 1/8 to 1/4" of space between it and the AC line.

Yes, on my 07 GXP. I didn't install the other one yet since I need to paint the other one for the coupe. Coupe frames are painted to match at the factory

I guess since these cars are made by hand the position of the AC bracket, where the line hooks up to it, must not be exactly the same on all cars.
