I installed my OCC yesterday. First off, I wish that the OCC didn't already have the DDMWorks sticker on it. I ordered a white overlay with a DDM star on it and while it looks fantastic, I can see the other DDMWorks sticker underneath and that drives me crazy. I'm going to have to peel the white overlay off, remove the DDMWorks sticker, repaint, and somehow reapply the white overlay (which I'm pretty sure will be ruined when I take it off). Secondly, for the LE5 S/C guys there needs to be another 3' section of 3/8” Oil resistant hose included in the kit for us. I had to run to Advanced Auto parts in order to get what I needed (cost about another $5 for a 3' section). Lastly, the OCC install documentation needs to be changed for the LE5 S/C guys because I got LNF install instructions. Luckily I used the picture in post #20 of this thread to aid me in my install. I found that the use of the reflective tape was unnecessary in my installation, but may end up using it on one particular area as an anti-chafe barrier. I will take pictures later and try to do a write-up so the LE5 S/C guys will have easier documentation to follow. Thanks DDM and Kim for quick shipment and your tech support over the phone. Once the kit gets tweeked for us (LE5 S/C), it will be perfect.

As promised here are my pics. First one shown for clarity. Second one shows colored routing for the two hoses. The red one is the hose that came with the kit. The one in yellow is the additional hose I had to run to Advanced Auto Parts to get. I also opted to reuse my two original hose clamps along with the two that came in the kit. A few black zip ties dresses everything up nicely. I do also wish that both of the fittings on the OCC were on the passenger side to make the hoses dress in better. I'm picky like that.

I don't think it really matters but You have your hoses run backwards compared to mine. The one from my intake connects to the port that is closer to the fuse box

I looked at doing that, but the bend radius on the hose would have been too severe, IMO, and restrict flow into the OCC.

The routing for the OCC hoses on the LNF is different than the LE5. That's why you don't have an issue with your bend radii.

Only barely. You could have run both down the same path to the intake.
That would have allowed them to both come straight off the OCC and only need a single 180 loop to attach to the manifold.
Hose length could have been an issue with that.

Looks good and it works, that's what matters.

Bumping an older topic. I have the BNR2871 and am looking at installing a catch can. I have three lines; two from the valve cover and one from the intake. How are people with similar turbo setups running their lines?

The steel braided line does not change. It should connect to the stock location in the mid point of the valve cover and the other end connects to your intake
Then
You will need to install an NPT fitting into your Intake and connect that to the port on the OCC that is on the outside
Then connect the fitting on the OCC that is on the inside to the passenger front of the valve cover.

it will be hard to see the last connection in this picture, but the others should be clear

Elff, I will give that a shot. I think I might come off of the nipple with a T instead of running two holes in the intake elbow.

Typically we have found that the car does not like it when you do this and "T" both of those lines into each other, just FYI.

A guy by the name of Carlos on Skyroadster tried the T method
It did not work and he switch over to how I have mine setup which is exactly how DDM installs them.
In fact DDM installed mine but I swapped my intake afterwards
I put the connection on the intake just like DDM had it

Thanks! What is there to go wrong with a single tap into the intake?

I am assuming people are actually seeing accumulation in their catch cans. However, I have to wonder about the connection at the front of the valve cover? My understanding is that it is connected originally to a spot of the turbo that creates a vacuum..."pulling" the flow on the connection at the valve cover. Setting up the catch can with that connection as the outlet, the flow will be "pushing" at that connection. Is that not detrimental to the design of the system?

Exactly the opposite. That connection would be the INlet to the OCC. The outlet would be to the turbo.

Josh, there has been too much talk about the correct connection to the catch can.
i ordered it as soon as it came available, and now i have it connected from the mid valve cover to the intake nipple as it was the first directions. now most people say to connect it to the line front of valve cover to the turbo.
best thing IMHO would be 2 occ or a dual one
