High flow cat bolts are loose.  Pull off your turbo heat shield and see if there is any soot on the underside.

Check to make sure the "B" nuts are tight going to the filter bowl.  I had a loose one on mine and it leaked, gave the gas smell.

In the center of the addon is a larger diameter tube, there are nuts about line/tube nuts that connect the fuel line to it.  About 11/16 wrench or some where close to that.

When my car was new, the gas fumes were so bad it burned my eyes.

There was no exhaust leak.
No fuel spilling anywhere.
My tailpipe was rediculously sooty.

Seemed to clear up on it's own.

I also had a problem with the DDM Works Fuel Filter with gas leaking from one of the connectors...
I just pushed in at one end a little harder (Plastic connector side of the line) and seemed to stop, but I keep my eyes and nose on it from time to time...  :f:

The lines are B nut fittings and can handle quite a bit of torque.  Grab both ends of the filter can and tighten at the same time.   Don't be scared :poke:
