The REAL issue is the 1st/2nd gear issues. As long as the drive assembly, and its actuating parts (throw out bearing, fork, etc.) are working smoothly, it would seem that it is a master/slave cylinder issue. As I had mentioned, make sure that the master is not working free of the firewall. It has happened to others, and started to happen (with my still stock system) to my car.
bob.......any comment about using NON-SAC then going back to SAC kit?and vice versa?or once we go with NON-SAC clutch kit.........we can no longer use SAC clutch kit?
Kelu, I don't think, you can adjust the engagement point on a non SAC clutch. What you have is what it is.
Looking forward to your answer about 1st and 2nd gears grindings.I have another question: with nonSAC you can adjust where you have the engagement point?
I really think that even if I have NON-SAC clutch kit right now.................after several years, I can buy a SAC clutch kit, and install it on the car and VICE VERSA. But I do hope DDM Dave can confirm
