Chicken fried steak is gross and I have not yet found any cheese curds where I live. I make my own poutine and put pepperjack cheese cubes in it. Not bad at all. I like brisket sandwiches and ribs and chicken on the bbq...I'll be hunting the next time I'm in Lubbock (Probably next week or so and hopefully NOT at Frank Brown!)
Okay, cheese curds are good and chicken fry is gross. You and I do indeed come from different worlds. :D Enjoy your time in west Texas. :)
I'd rather be driving! :D

We DO come from different worlds. It's the culture/food that is so different from what I experienced, living most of my life in Canada. However, I have a friend who lives in Lubbock and she LOVES the food here. I'm from the island of Montreal and she's from Nova Scotia. WE are also different. Go figure huh?

Just had a brisket sandwich and it was good.  :yay:
