Put up on the lift & rotated the tires & give it a per-inspection, before it goes to my dealer for NYSI on Tues.
Here's to many rides with the top down, wind in your hair & the  hammer down.  :drag: :brnout: :drive:

I washed mine today, paying special attention to get all the brake dust off the rims.
Also vacuumed the interior

Tomorrow I will pull the front wheels and re-torque all of my brake parts on the TCE kit [Just being pro-active]
and then am going to seafoam it and do some HPT logging.

Just curious to know what you guys do for 'oiling' hinges etc. Do you put anything on the top hinges wher it folds up. I can't imagine using something like 3-in-1 or anything very liquid or it would get onto the fabric. How's about the door hinges etc etc. I was told to use lithium grease on areas suseptible to rusting. Haven't done it yet. Thought I'd ask if this was correct or there was something better. ANy words of wisdom on this topic in general would be appreciated...Critter
I always wanted to be somebody when I grew up - I realize now that I should have been more specific!!

Changed my tires to day, move the front tires to the back and put the new ones on the front.  Here are the different thread depts.

I think it was time and could possibly be why I lost traction and blew the engine.

 More like...STOOPID RIGHT FOOT!

I'm in the same predicament  I still can't figure out why the rear tires wear so quickly.

My left side tires are worn more than my right.  I have no idea why.  I don't believe I have a preference between right or left corners.  Unless my weight would make that much of a difference...and it's not like I weigh that much either.

In fact, my left side tires are almost down to the wear marks.  Just gotta get them thru Asheville and prolly have to get another set.  I love the Direzza's, but if I'm gonna go through them in a few months, that's not gonna work. :(

I just got my weed whacker to start!  Only took a week to get it started!   :gaah:

It was laying next to my Kappa when it started.  Maybe that's been the problem all week!

Drove down to Joe's to have him weld up my cat.  Now I have driven the ranch road probably a hundred times, and I managed to take a turn two wide and hit a curb going around one of the bends.  Dented the hell out of my front rim, and a barely notable dent in the rear rim.

Joe not only welded my cat, but also managed to straighted my rim.  Thanks Joe, you are the man.
