Topic: DSS 1000HP Axles In Stock!

Yes street tires and wheel hop hurt half shafts. That is why I asked if the "1000hp" rating was if you were on slick or street tires.

So I would imagine these shafts are rated for 1000hp on slicks and maybe 700hp on street tires? would you agree?

I would go with that but I would say you can probably push it harder on street tires than 700whp

Although at much, MUCH lower HPs (and on a different vehicle), my CVs never broke on standing race starts. They always broke at the 2-3 upshift. Video.

Anyways,  for DSS Axles/CV Joints. I'm sure they'll serve the Kappa croud nicely.

I've broken some axle shafts in my day




Just throw a rag in the axle tube to prevent crap from mixing with the oil and be on your merry way


But I was on Mother Natures Track when this happen, no pavement in site


and at this point,  I am going to ask a mod to split this topic since we totally F-D Ricky's for sale thread
