No need to go to the dealer. Auto part stores & wall*mart, sell recharge kits. And stop leak that work on the metal parts & rubber holes. Mite want to check it out. Before you go to the dealers.

At least you wont have to pay the dealer 80 to 100hr. in labor. Call and get a quote and go from there. Subaru sent me a service coupon for $80 AC test & recharge if need. So either way you mite be spending $80 or so dollars anyway.

If you need a recharge you probably have a leak at which point the dealer is going to charge you... BendOverAndTakeItUpTheA$$/hr. until they are satisfied enough to smoke a cigarett.  :idk: I would try HammerDown's suggestion.

IBD     You can get the whole Kit with gauge easy to use. its about 30.00 at Wal-Mart i've used it on my jeep you can get the sealer to if theres a leak . Think theres a kit that has everything. 40.00 is better then 250-300.00 at the Dealers

I was on a fourlane near home and a Miata wanted to play. All he saw was my taillights. Then I slowed down and let him pass. He wouldn't look at me. I hate killing baby seals.

I did something similar a while back.  While getting on the interstate the on ramp starts as two lanes and then merges to one, I passes a Miata and about 6 other cars that were in the other lane.  I never broke the speed limit and it still took the Miata about 3.5 miles to catch up with me.

I worked on picking out/off the glass shards left on the back window from me dropping the top and breaking the rear window. I don't intend to fix it until July. So I have plenty of time to pick it out with the long nose pliers , I already have the window. Just waiting to get back from vacation to fix it.

Had a couple of little races with a Lotus tonight.  Now, I'm not saying I beat him, but I was behind him at several lights where he took off, tires squeeling, and I kept up with him unil the next light.  Nice to know that I can hang with a car that costs over 3 times as much brand new...

My Koean buddy translated for me, turns out the guy has a Ferrari and several other performance cars.  Good guy to know here!  He lives about 3 hours away in Osan and was just visiting his girlfriend here in Pohang.  My buddy exchanged numbers with him and he's gonna call the next time he's in town.

You should be able to hang with a Lotus on the straights.
Especially if it's not a supercharged model.
The twisties is where those cars come alive.

Very Nice add on the friends list over there.

He was saying 0-100 kmh (roughly 0-62 mph)in 3.SOMETHING, he couldn't remember.  I said about 4.4 to 4.5 for mine.  Hasn't been tested since I got the last Wester's tune, GMPP performance intake, and DDM intercooler.

Makes me want to record some runs and send them to Lyndon for a little tweaking...

i agree. this must be an exige and not an elise.
exige is much more powerfull and there is no way we can match a car like that, coz it's main advantage is weight and not lots of HP

I love the Exige, only problem is where I live, it just can't be driven on alot of the roads.
There are a couple of guys who autocross exige and elises.  All them have body damage from the PA roads and are now strictly play vehicles.

Bad Joke time

So this baby seal walks into a club.....

It was an Exige model, "S 240" I think, but am not sure.  It was night time and where we stopped wasn't the brightest lit area...

I had both Tops setting on the work bench and moved one. Didn't notice until too late that the edge of it was under the edge of the other. The Club Racer knocked the LeMans off the bench. Before I could reach it, it hit the grange floor, back end first "&^%#*))( " is all I could say. I thought about replacing it with Plexiglas but I like the look of glass.
