Had some bad scratches on the hood.

These weren't going to come out with any amount of

. Not sure where they came from

, but my car sits outside all the time, and sometimes its several days in between drives. Since I'm getting over another kidney stone

, I haven't driven it in about 3 days.
The Vehicle Processing Center put some moderate scratches in it also and I've wanted to get the front facia sanded and painted for a long time anyway. So, I took it to the Korean Chevy service center. They work on all GM products, but this is the first Pontiac they've ever seen. It's costing me 750,000 Won ($690.00) to have the hood and front facia re-painted.
The service center comes highly recommended from two other guys, one of which does paint restoration. I was happy to hear through the Korean gibberish, "Pontiac Solstice" and "Saturn Sky" as well as "modification", "tune", and "Very Nice!" The manager said that they will color match it and that they do a better job than the US. It'll be ready in 4 days.... (Where's the damn FINGERS CROSSED smiley???)
