Yesterday, I put the rear end up on ramps and rotated my exhaust couplers. The bolts were hitting most of the speed bumps. While I was under there, I took the opportunity to check the probeam bolts. I put a couple of turns on about 4 of them, but they were all more than finger tight after a couple of years since the install.
I also buffed out a scratch on the passenger side door from dropping the hood on it. I had met up with the Korean racers 2 nights ago at a car wash. One of the guys asked if he could have his picture taken while sitting in it. I had the hood up before he sat in the driver's seat. As I went to close the hood, I didn't realize that his cousin had raised the passenger door, wanting to get in on the picture. There is still a 4-5 inch crease, but I think it can be popped out. The guy that was sitting in the driver's side, works at the Chevy Service Center where I got the hood and front facia painted. He said they could probably pop the crease out... For Free!
I also buffed out some problem areas on the rest of the car with SSR 2.5 and SSR 1.0 and then did the whole car with Pro-Polish, Pro-Polish with Carnuba, Black Hole glaze, and finished with a coat of EX Sealent.
Today, since it's going to be a slow day at work, I'll put another coat of EX Sealant on it this morning and hit the interior with Leather Stuff. This evening, I'll finnish up with a coat of Natty's Liquid Blue wax and hit the wheels with some Wheel Sealant. I'm so glad that Porboy's World shipps to APO AP addresses!
