OOO titanium.  Very Very nice!!!

So Today.  I did drive mine, but I did not clean it.  I got up real early and drove to a friends house.  We drilled out the stock upper coil mounts.  Then got home and I built these
Eibach Sportline Coils with Koni SA's {Ronald McDonald would be proud!!}

Then I went around and I measured the wheel gaps.
Front

Rear

Then I installed them.
Driver front

Passenger front. Look up, it's the same just mirrored.

Driver Rear

Passenger Rear.  Do we really need to do this again?

New Front Lack of Gap

New Rear Lack of Gap

This is the 3rd set of shocks and springs I put on the Sky so It was a walk in the park.  If you want to see an awesome detailed description of how it's done.  Please checkout Gentleman Jack's thread
http://www.kappaperformance.com/forum/index.php/topic,7280.0.html
He lists tools, sizes and had all sorts of killer pics.
GJ, I did reference your thread to get out all the proper size ratchets, sockets and wrenches.  It greatly simplified my install.  I never remember that stuff.
Also, another set of thanks.  You know why!!!

One thing I would like to note.  The rears are way easier to do than the fronts.  The fronts you need to disconnect one of the ball joints and the sway bar.
On the rear, I only disconnect the Tie Rod and I can slide out the old and slide in the new.  I did not need to disconnect the swaybar or a ball joint.  Also, the passenger front requires that you move the Power steering assembly to get at the one 15mm bolt. [Unless you have it relocated]

So these Springs are advertised as lowering the Sky 1.6" and by my highly accurate measurements, you can definitely see I am right around that mark,  Give or take the tape measure variance of [Insert some random b.s. number here]  It aint easy holding the tape and shooting the pic!!

I currently have the Koni's 1 full turn in from all the way soft.  In the diagram they send you, they say 360 degrees is a sport setting.
The demon now needs a serious alignment.  My camber is so off.     Also my Sky is really dirty, so I didn't snap any new pics yet.  Will clean, align and get side pics.
But I swear, it's slammed now.   So I took ol Lucy out to see how it felt at these setting.  I can really feel the need for an alignment.  I can also feel the road more than I used to.  I was purposely hitting bumps and rises to see how it reacts.  It's different than the GMPP suspension but quicker to react. I think I might actually firm it up a bit more.  While on my  test drive I was about to play with a Black Dodge charger and luckily noticed
IT WAS AN UNMARKED POLICE CAR.  So close Buzzard SOOOO CLOSE.

That would have ended badly, especially considered what happened recently in my area, specifically my private 1/4 mile track.   So, I am going to let the springs settle.  Behave myself for once, get an alignment, play with the Koni settings and give my overall feedback later.
But
I like the look and the handling so far.

Ordered a stick on Fresnel lense from Amazon for the top center of the windshield to see stoplights easier.

Nice Elff...very nice!

Lucky Bastage!!  :)

BTW, I will be doing nothing in my Kappa once again today.  Stormed like crazy last night and supposed to storm again today.  Luckily, the 60-70 mph winds went just south of me!  We'll see what today brings.  So my Solstice sits dirty in my garage...again.  :(

Elff,

Did the Eibach Sportline require spring compressor to assemble on Koni ?

For the Fronts No I was able to compress it enough by hand to get the Nut started.
For the rears I did need to use my strut compressors.  I always use 2 to be on the safe side and the ones I use have locking pins to prevent them from slipping off the springs.  They were only $35.

The Eibachs had me scratching my head for a while.  They were marked Front and Rear, but the rears were longer than the fronts which is normally backwards.  I wasn't sure they were marked correctly, but they were.
I also had to cut down the bump stops for the eibachs. They provide a drawing so this was easy.

Elff, when I did mine, my alignment was so bad it threw a 'Service ESC' code.... do not worry, it's just the overly-sensitive wheel speed sensors.  It went away after the suspension settled and I had my alignment done.

How would I explain the lack of hair?
Option 1: lice
Option 2: lost a bet
Option 3: victim of a practical joke
Option 4: want to be just like Kelu when you grow up, show the cop the picture and then make a face like your taking a dump.
