Tried to hardwire a V1 to the mirror.  Found out the hard way that there is no switched power there.  So, it's temporarily connected to constant power.  Just now, I saw the thread for the A-pillar gauge power connection.  I'm going to have to run a wire from the interior fuse box.

I have to admit I have always liked the look of the eyelids. Got any extra "silver pearl" vinyl you didn't use?

As a matter of fact I do. It fades toward the end of the roll, but maybe i can get another set out of it. If you are serious about it, I am sure we can work it out this fall in ohio if you decide to show up :)

I'm just wondering if him tinkering with your car means you will have to tinker with his little gremlin.

Having just the rear might the back of the car tighter...almost like you're one with the car.  Adding the front made the car more linear and there is almost 0 body roll at all...front end seems to be easier to control....as if more emphasis has been put on driver input.

Finally someone agrees with me!

Sorry Kenny. As much as I'd like to stiffen the front sway bar it isn't happening without a means to stiffen the rear to correct the understeer. With the Pro Beam installed I've been trusting the car more and it's definitely pretty close to neutral. When taking traffic circles both tires sing out at the same time, no more plowing! I'm going to try and get DDM's front brace sometime soon.

That almost sounds NSFW!

I currently have the rears at 360 degrees
And the fronts at 180 degrees from all soft.
I also only have the rear ZOk.
I do have some front lean but barely and it seems to aid with with the turn in. I currently like it but would like to compare and contrast.
I wonder if the LV brace will reduce roll but not affect the turn in I like

Probably not a noticeable amount, it serves a different purpose.

Not sure how lean would help turn in, or else racecars would have tons of body roll :)

Not sure if this will explain it well enough

Instead of plowing and understeer, the car leans some but has oversteer.

Yes, that makes sense. But there are other ways to control the balance of the car, such as shocks, springs and tire pressure. So what I've been suggesting to folks is to go with the stiffer front bar and reduce the understeer via those other methods.

I'm going to stick with "If it's not broken don't fix it" for now. :D

I'm happy with the setup, and till I've got another vehicle to take over daily driver duties I don't foresee doing enough to the car to justify upgrading the suspension further. Once the focus goes from DD to race car all bets are off.

Had to wipe the rain spots off of it. We are in the monsoon season here in the desert! High humidity and overnight lows of 85! Feels like I am back in Florida... :gaah:

Hope to take my car to lunch today... last chance to drive it for a while since we'll be making the summer trek to the Florida out-laws.

(Yes, I will wave to Donkeytown as we drive through on I95 :donkey:)

High humidity? In Vegas? I lived there ten years and it never went above 50%, IN the middle of a gully washer rain storm.

I also lived in Florida, and now In Virginia. High heat and humidity are a daily thing.

When I left Vegas in 89 it had been eight months of no rain. I do not miss it at all, though I go often to visit my daughter there.

PS I haven't touched my Sky in a week.

I replaced the shift knob with a new one from JPM! I also installed a decal on the side where I got keyed. I am not sure if I like it or not yet but it does mask the scratch repair.
