Took it to the dealer and they ordered the 2 valves for the cooling system. Bought an extended warranty. It is the best one I could find.

Mine passed emissions. But it still throws a code now and then.

Trying to get the recessed grills painted. I bought the paint a week ago and I now have a renewed appreciation for those that do it for a profession. Have to prime again as I've been having issues.

A few more days and I will post pictures.

STILL waiting for CCW to get my wheels built. But, the weather is great (FINALLY) so I decided to work on the car. Having already swapped to heavier springs a few weeks back I thought I would check the alignment in prep for the Solo season. Seems like it sat higher with the stiffer springs (Duh, huh?), and I thought I had adjusted the collars enough. WRONG. So, measured the cambers, put the car up on stands, dropped the collars another 1/2", and aligned the car to -2.7 deg front and -1.9 deg rear cambers, put it down on my home made skid plates, did a string job to set the toe settings, confirmed my cambers, and took it off the plates. Two and half hours. It's getting quicker!!!

Now I wait for the wheels.

Last night while driving home my A-pillar gauge illumination went out. I realized it was nice not to have those red lights staring me in the face during a relaxing drive. Today I fixed the loose wire tap and installed a switch so I can turn them off at will.

Added 4 ExtremeContact DWS tires...
after hearing all the good press these tires were getting here and elsewhere, I replaced the stocks.
What a difference!  :drive:
Looking forward to the dragon with these tires!

Ordered a Pioneer AVIC-Z110BT nav unit. It is their flagship unit. I got it for 999.00 and I get a 200.00 rebate which cuts it to 799.00. Crutchfield wants 1399.00 with a 200.00 rebate for total of 1199.00. Ordered all the accessories Joe said I needed. He will install it for me.

The sun was brightly shining and it was beautiful outside and I had some things to do so I had taken off for the day my volunteering for the Kansas University Medical Center and put the top down and drove my baby.  That's what I did!  Prior to that I worked out at the Prairie Life Center and walked 5 miles on the track.  Tomorrow is another great day weather wise so Miss Red Eagle gets to go out again as I  have my appointment with my Trainer at the Prairie Live Center.  I recommend to anyone to join a YMCA or health club.

We have had some rain last week so could not drive the Eagle, and when winter finally ended we found out that it was the most snow ever recorded in Kansas City, (45 inches for the winter).  :barf:  Then it rained for two weeks and now back to sanity.  Life is good again!

I painted the center honeycomb of the recessed grills. Tomorrow I blow in the outer ring. I'm not a painter but this has been a learning experience to say the least.

I now have more respect for those that do this for a living.

My Driver side handle is hanging on for dear life.
I'm going to see if I can have the dealer replace it with a Black one so I don't have to rewrap it.
Whatever happened with the aftermarket ones?
