The low beams always on is the DRL. DRL stands for Daytime Running Lights.
Just trying to do my part...

Critterman you are partially right
there is a law that demands DRL, but it's not followed, it's a new law and police is severe when it comes to motorcycles, but they skip cars, coz it s pretty sunny here...
Sly Bob i prefer auto lights than drl, coz it will help in tunnels if i forget to turn them on and i hate having them running all the time

Well this has to be filed under "what am I gonna do today to the Kappa department".  ;) It's headed across the border to Americano Norte to have the turbo repaired.  :drive: I'm getting about 1 psi boost,  and that ain't good. :gaah:  Hopefully by early next week I'll be back to normal and breaking speed limits whenever possible. Which is pretty much anytime the engine is running.

DeepWater,
when you coming my way?  Are you going to Bob Stall?  Are you sure it's the turbo itself?  Did you try pouring your expensive wine into it?

Arabas - it sounds like you removed the DRL funciton of your lights.  DRL's are a requirement here, I don't believe that is the case in Europe, is that correct?

DRLs are a requirement in Canada but not the US.  Many cars are sold without them.

Deep, did you check your hoses to make sure you didn't blow one of them off maybe?  I don't know, but I have read where several people who have simply upgraded their tunes were blowing the hoses off due to weak clamps.....just a thought, and it might save you a long turbo-less drive back to the US ?

GJ - Go Chicago!!  I may live in Canada, but I can still spot a team of idiots with a fan base who are morons.  No offense to any Vancouver fans who may read this but.....seriously....you were again lucky to get out of the first round for Pete's sake!!!

Go Bruins, Go Wings and Go Canadians!  (I'm definitely not a Montreal fan either, but I hate the penguins)....To bad about my Wings though.  They could have won any or all of those first 3 games they lost to put themselves pretty much out of the playoffs.

Meanwhile...what did I do to my car today?  Nothing...frikin weather.  At least the snow should finish melting today!

Ahem. Oh, right, you're from Edmonton. Never mind...

To bad about my Wings though...

I knew there was a reason I didn't like you... ;) Seriously though, you know who my 4th favorite team is? Whoever's playing Detroit. About the only time I cheer for Detroit is when they become my 3rd fav team: whoever's playing Toronto.

Drove the snot out of it on some nice, winding roads.  Had a blast!  Love the ProBeam - even though the car is 70 lbs heavier with the sound deadener, it feels lighter with the ProBeam.   So controllable - can place it anywhere I want, slide the rear and feel comfortable that I know what it is doing, and it is a blast!!!

However, with the top down at 70 mph+, I can not really hear the stock exhaust any more.  Gone in the wind noise.  Gonna have to think about that.

Moby how the hell were you typing while wearing one of those goalie gloves?

Deepwater check to make sure that GJ didn't abscond with your t-bolt clamps while you were away, he was complaining about needing a new one up till the time when he went to check on your place after that earthquake.

Oh Treeman-
OK guys, this thread has been seriously Hijacked.  Go find your own sports thread  :gaah:

Here's what I did to my car this weekend:

I started up excited about a great weekend of detailing.  Then the Red Sox got pounded twice by the Yankees.  I was going to change the oil, then the Celtics got pounded by the Cavs.  I was ripping up some twisties when the Bruins tied the game with 15 seconds to go, then hit a small pebble and lost control when the Flyers won in over time.  That's was I did to my car.

:kwh:

GJ

2kwk4u,

Those custom gauges look great!  A video of them in action would be really trick too!

Keep the wires hidden, and button her up right.

No problem GJ, I typed that whole thing with my mouth shut. ;)

If you take the right parts you won't have to out run them you can out drive them.  You still have so much learning to do!

Today I was really nice to my kappa, I left it in the garage and took my truck to drive down some really poorly maintained country roads.

GJ stay the hell out of my garage, I'm not gonna tell you twice!
