A good day with my Sky!
First, a simple oil change, sort of.

Supplies.

Fumoto Valve, with adapter and hose.

Drain Plug.

Out with the old.

Fully drained I added the adapter.

Installed the Fumoto Valve with drain hose extension.

Close up.

Filter cover.

32mm socket and swivel.

Old and New Filter.

Snapped into the cap.

Custom made funnel. The opening is wide, but very shallow.

In place, the lip seal held it in place.
All told, about 1 hour, but next time it will be much faster.
Then a little frame stiffening:
I also installed a new DDM Backbone.

Old exhaust, right in the way.

Backbone in place.

Loose, but the exhaust held it in place. I had to remove the left muffler mounts to allow it to drop far enough to get the backbone out.

Stock versus DBM. The difference is amazing.

The captured nuts were not very well attached, but apparently enough so since I could fully tighten each bolt.

Installed. Not hard, but lots of long bolts that tend to stick a bit.
I haven't driven it but a 1/4 mile, so no report on how it works.
Install time about one hour.
Next a little suspension anti-squeaking:
I also had an issue with my front sway bar bushings squeaking, so I decided to lube them, even though I have ordered a set of urethane bushings with grease channels.

Someone had already done it before, but it is obviously not a permanent fix.

Simply unbolt the old cap and remove it and the bushing at the split.

Clean the sway bar.

Lube it up.

The bushing with old dry grease on it.

Cleaned and lubed.

Reinstalled.
I took the car around the neighborhood and hit as many bumps as I could, no squeaks.
Total time, 20 minutes.
And finally a nice rack!
Lastly, I installed my new KappaRack. It was a bit of a pain assembling the straps and getting everything lined up, but not too bad once I adjusted my trunk lid.

The only issue I had was the cheap Chinese bolts that galled once tightened down and snapped in half trying to remove them.

Obviously I was not cross threaded.
Other than that, the rack seems solid and looks decent. It will not stay on the car permanently, but only go on for trips.
Total install time, about 1 hour.
All together, with jacking the car up, using my hockey puck frame protectors, it took about 5 hours to get everything done.
All in all, a very good day!
Jim
