Preparing to come out of hybernation this Friday and yes, it has been quite a while since I've been on here.  Installed new front splash guards, Backbone and Pro-beam last week.  Got the backordered pigtails in the mail yesterday so i'll be swapping those and uploading the initial tune from WERKS today.

Good to be back, Career change has reduced my Forum foot print and activities.

Welcome back GUNNY :usa:

Well it wasn't today, it was Friday, but I bought my Kappa a playmate.  It's mixed emotions.  The old red TJ Jeep was my first new car ever and 2nd gear in the Tranny is shot.  So I was more forced into getting a new vehicle.  Like a true Jeep guy I replaced my old Jeep with the only thing I could, a new one.

Ordered a motorized front plate bracket from Davies Corvette.  You have to have a front plate here, no exceptions.  The good thing is, 99% of the radar here is done through cameras which take a picture of the front plate.  I'm thinking I could pop it down when I see the camera and they have no way to find me.  Well, maybe eventually...  I've always wanted one anyway, so why not?

I also pulled the front wheels off and lowered the front end again.  I've got about 1/2" more clearance then I did when I was in the States.  The roads around Pohang are kind of bad, but the highways are pretty smooth.  It rides so much better.  When it was raised up, the front springs were compressed so much the front end bounced all over the place....

@Gj: Nice tires, cute dog... Looks like he really needs to go outside. LOL!

@GND: Have fun beating the Korean 5.0. I am sure you will be looked at often, just try not to come home with a police record. So what do all the "guys" on base think of your car?

So a slight delay on the tune install.  After taking a good look at the length of wiring to the stock manifold MAP sensor, It was apparent I was not going to be able to stagger the barrel plug crimp connectors like I wanted to keep the run from having a large bulge in it.  I want to keep the harness reversable without having to re-cut so I did some searching and came up with ordering three of these.  Three, because if the main two are wired with the males on the reverse ends, I can split the third between the two old sensor plugs and replug them back in place if needed.  Will be here by Saturday.  Weather pack connectors.  gives a true meant to be look.

I've got to work on him to get that jeep a little more agressive looking.

Small Lift and 35" tires have to be the first order of business.

Forgot to mention that I got GMPP extended warranty (48 months, 32k miles, $0 deductible) for the Kappa last week on Friday.  I went to two Corvette Forums dealers to give me quotes and I went with one with $100 cheaper quote.
