Congrats! and sounds interesting. Is any modification required for racing seat installation. Don't think I have ever seen a thread here before for the installation of one... Will have to go look though.

There have been some, I think. But, I'll see what I can do.

SOB - congrats a win is a win and at the end of the season it will show as a win.

CT - Contact Kenny - he installed seats and did a write up.

I put mine back under cover for another week of forcasted rain.

Beautiful, not to mention clean, car Smartin!!  And look in the background, what is that??  Green grass???  Where is all the snow piled?  Did you have it hauled away or something?

I changed the oil and filter, cleaned the air filter, rotated the tires and I'm now ready for summer.  I finally got the garage door open last weekend, it has been frozen to the ground since December.  At least now Raggy can see outside....although I think I saw tears running from her headlights when she saw how much melting was still to be done   :'(

Doing more research.  I know the next winter is still many months away, but I wondered about fitting 16-in wheels on the car (for winter set).

Do any of you know if the Saab 16-in wheels would fit a Kappa ?  I know the PCD (5x110 mm) and the center bore (65 mm) match.  Offset is within reasonable range as the wheel width is only 6.5 in.  Caliper lateral clearance is easy to fix, but how about radial clearance ?

Has anyone done something like this before, either with Saab wheels or otherwise (G5/Cobalt/HHR/Catera/etc.) ?

PosVette, a guy here was putting on 16'' wheels for drifting and street drag.
he used Alfa Romeo's wheels and they fitted without problems.
never talked to him about this (or anything else), the info is from what guys here have told me.

These are the rims he used (foto posted by the guy)
on a fs topic, he says the exact words (in greek of course)
QUOTING: FS rims with bridjestone 215-55-16 5% shorter than the factory that will directly fit the GT (5X110)

Arabas,

Thank you.  That's good to know that at least some 16-in wheels would fit over the Kappa brakes.  Maybe I should get these Saab wheels.

Someone north of the border was running a different wheel/tire package a couple of winters ago.  can't remember if it was 16 or 17.  I'm thinking 16 because there are more tires available

I used 17 inchers for my winters  http://www.kappaperformance.com/forum/index.php/topic,5408.0.html

The trick is to use the smallest wheel diameter possible as the tire price becomes lower.  Yes, I'm cheap.
