DMR, I use white litium grease on the wheel hub, the studs, and the center of the wheel before I put them on.  Makes it a lot easier to remove

G8ter - So much goes into the dyno that you cannot really use them for anything but comparison.  So many variables.

Your buddies car dyno'd right where a stock LNF dyno's.  I would suggest he gets the dealer to test the tune is actually on his car.

Sly know the feeling that is what I did with mine as well

It's his birthday and he can do what he likes with his back hair even if it does leave the rest of us with scarred imaginations.

I called and (OMG I didn't say happy birthday when I spoke to him. Have to send a text... BRB)

... He said he was waxing from head to toe. Kinda brings brazilian to a whole new level don't ya think?

And why is he waxing anyway, didn't he crash it last week?

So, the sun is out, the temps in the 60's and I have a few hours time.

First up, the mud flaps.

Stupid easy, which is perfect for me!

I drilled a couple holes, used on of the factory holes, and two of the supplied screws. Took 5 minutes each front.

Not a perfect fit, but not bad.

For the rear I had to remove the wheels. So I jacked it up, took of the nuts, and fought like hell to get the wheel off. Seems the winter driving caused a bit of rust!

I attacked it with some sandpaper,

Then applied a bit of anti-seize.

I then installed the rear flaps, same as the front.

Then the wheels. Went right on with no problem.

Slightly twisted, and the front are pretty low, but not bad at all for less than $40.

Next up, since the weather is great, I decided to wash, wax the car, and clean and seal the top with 303.

Washed and waxed, I covered the car in preparation for the sealant. I had already washed the top with the 303 cleaner.

Next I covered the car to keep the sealer off the paint. I also taped up the rear window.

Then I applied the sealant. I used the whole bottle, hope that wasn't too much.

The results of all my work today:

The rack is on for my trip.

I also took a few photos of the grill in the better light:

Looks great, and I am very impressed with the Eagle One spray on wax too!

Jim

PS Cleaned the motor too!

Jim,

Like Sly_Bob said earlier, you should make a seperate thread for each of your projects and link to them here like most people do.  That way others whom are interested in doing something similar could easily find them.  Otherwise, they just get lost in the 170+ pages of this thread...

Thanks,

I didn't think they were detailed enough to be of any actual use to anyone.

I will do that next time.

Don't worry, you can say"I hate it" ;)  Not many like the wheels, they are very unusual and yet of very simple design.  They bling hard in motion and they command attention.

I'll take that as a compliment :D  I concur, they are very eye-catching.

Looking excellent, Jim.

I just drove TOPLESS a lot over the weekend. And drove her out to dinner to meet some Sky owners at Ruth Chris' Steakhouse.

Saturday BIX stayed hidden under her cover, while the wind and rain howled.  Sunday I drove over to Chuck's and the 4 of us drove the back roads to North Beach topless for dinner.  I stopped by my daughter's for a couple of minutes on the way home.

Today, came to work topless. Looks like at least 3 good days this week.

... drove her out to dinner to meet some Sky owners at Ruth Chris' Steakhouse.
Actually that restaurant chain is called Ruth's Chris Steak House.  I could never understand the placing of the possessive apostrophe, so your post triggered me to look it up.  From wikipedia:

Quote
The chain was founded by Ruth Fertel, a single mother of two, in 1965, after she bought the existing Chris Steak House in New Orleans. In buying the restaurant, Fertel had to agree that the restaurant keep the "Chris" name for a specified period of time. After the original location sustained a kitchen fire, she relocated the restaurant about one-half mile (0.9 km) to the west on Broad Street and renamed the rebuilt establishment "Ruth's Chris." Under the purchase agreement, the name "Chris Steak House" could not be used at any other location, and she did not want to lose customers already familiar with the Chris name.

So, that's y'all's education for the day!  (No need to thank me, I'm here for your service...)
