Fiberglass is fun....you'll be fine.
First time I've seen this, so I don't know if there is an existing product....doubt it.

PVC, floral foam and Durglass will knock this one out quick!!!!

That is an interesting idea, my questions:
- is the aeroforce so thin that will have space in the back?
- does it fit? will not overlap with the other elements from that area?

I have some pictures from my spare odo, this all I can do to help:

It will be flush with the front of the bezel, not the back clear plastic.

As I mentioned, I'm in for some development work on this. Funny, I was studying my dash all the way to work this morning trying to think of where to put a gauge, or two. Now I know, one on each side!

What size gauges are you thinking? They need to be pretty small.

I'd love to turn the brightness down on the Aeroforce as I usually keep the IP low for highway driving. My black with white letters is very bright even mounted at my left knee under the dash.

Awesome idea! I have been all over this car looking for a clean place to mount a gauge.  Keep us informed :)

i failed..... damnit.  the opening is 4.5 inches, but i didnt know it got smaller as you went deeper.  the aeroforce gauges take up too much space.  crap.  well my search continues for a place to mount gauges.,

Try this:

Only 1" deep, and 45mm wide. These should work.

I have one of those over my gas gauge.  I only want the aeroforce because they use data from the obd2 port AND can display 2 metrics on one gauge

DDM makes gauge a 2 pod for the window pillar, and a 3 gauge pod for the radio area.  You just need to go to a single din radio.

Those PLX pieces are very cool. Less than an inch deep. May have to rethink some gauges. Wish they had a tach with a programmable light.

I have two of the 100's, digital boost and Air/Fuel.  both have a ring of led lights around the rim.

I don't see why you couldn't program one to do just that.

I don't see why you couldn't program one to do just that.

Maybe because they don't offer a tach. Or, so it seems.
