Everything looked ok under my car when I was in Asheville.  Which is surprising seeing as how both front splash guards scraped those stupid speed bumps everytime!

Elff...this is exactly why I rarely drive my car around Cleveland.  The roads are horrible!  Except the metroparks...those are decent.  But I never drive it to work for a ton of reasons
1.  I have to park it in a gravel lot across the street except on Fridays.
2.  We have a ton of construction going on and people have been getting nails and screws in their tires like crazy lately.
3. The roads are horrible.  There is a huge pothole on W 25th and I-71 that is unavoidable in the morning.  My G6 doesn't even like it.  I can't believe I haven't ruined a rim on it yet.  And the on ramp to I-90 and I-71 are both full of potholes.

There is a clip in the center at the front that has to be popped off, plus the two tabs at either side of the front that slide under the piece in front.

.

I'll try that again. Thanks :)

I can probably swap coil overs with the best of them on our cars now.
I've got this down to a science.
:D

Then you need to make a trip down to Florida, I just can't seem to separate the ball joints to install my new coilovers....:banghead: That doesn't sounds right.

You do not need to touch the ball joints on the rear, only the tierod.
Then slide the shock spring out towards the rear of the car
Use a pry bar if needed.

For the front, I always disconnect the top one.  Undo the nut with a ratcheting 18mm wrench and hold the bolt with an Allen key/socket
Then use a pickle fork to separate the ball joint

No, I wasn't talking about Cartmann. I was talking about a guy from Chicago who probably hasn't posted on the forums for at least 3 years. And yeah, if you're gonna be a passenger in your own car, then you would notice this. Me, I still had plenty of leg room, but I'm short.

Got coupe stripped!  WooHoo!  Shot camera vid but for whatever reason metallic doesn't really show up.  But think Sea Bass boat Silver Metallic, metallic really sparkles likes a crushed disco ball.

Success
I railed my Sky down a couple of roads that have some very weird road noise, bumps, dips and potholes.
While the car leaned significantly more than with the B&Gs, I did not bottom out once and as such was able to maintain a faster speed.
I can also leave and enter my driveway again without scraping.

That's actually really nice

Not great.  I get a nice big needle stuck in me on friday which apparently will hurt so much they are giving me an epidural.
FUN FUN FUN
That's so they can clear out as much of the inflammation as possible to get an accurate MRI of the damage.

Ouch!  If you don't mind my asking, was this due to a genetic/inherited problem, or due to activity/use?

Ordered Solo Mach Shorty (for the GXP coupe), will be driving it to NY for install in 2 weeks.  :yay:

Question; Can the 2.0 exhaust system be transferred to our 2.4?  Understand 2.4 would need dual exhaust valance.  Just seems a waste to lose a perfectly good 2.0 exhaust system and not reuse.

A number of NA owners have the LNF exhaust.  Sounds really good, too.

Carbon
This is what is occurring in my hips
http://www.hipfai.com/
If you look in the box labelled MIXED, that is what I had in the right hip and my left hip has what is in the box labelled CAM.
If you look at the type of athletes who tend to get affected by this, I have been a soccer player, Lacrosse Player and Martial Artist.
So it's a combination of my bones just growing wrong and all the activity.  I stopped playing soccer and doing martial arts due to this.

I had an FAO in December to fix the right hip.  Somehow the Cartilage is damaged again and we are trying to figure out why.  I am hoping this will be an easy fix, I can continue with my exercise and weight loss and then get the Left hip done over the winter.
Then, if all goes well, after ANOTHER HALF YEAR OF RECOVERY, maybe, just maybe, I can get back to being the Athlete I used to be.

Any Good Muffler shop can weld the 2.0 Exhaust to the 2.4 Exhaust, anywhere along the straight pipe.  Like you said, you just need a second opening for the driver side exhaust tip.

As long as I am good enough to drive the Sky, I can't complain all that much.

Speaking of which, my dog was cracking me up tonight.   I took her to the Vet for some Blood Work.
During the drive there, I noticed that she is so used to my driving and the Sky that she counter leans against the turns to maintain her balance.

I verified it on the way home, and she is as smooth as  Motor GP rider transitioning from side to side.
And When I look at her, she gives me this smile that says she knows exactly what she is doing.

This reminds me of "The Art Of Racing In The Rain" by Garth Stein.    If you have never read it, it's worth the time to read it.
