Nope. Even money. It's a beater, typically slow and boring Japanese slushbox.

Only question I have is if GJ was the one collecting deposits in the first place why did he need to get his back?

GJ Escrow and holding Inc regrets to inform those of you that sent in deposits on the SA recessed grill fiasco project pre-order that your money has gone. It was in a safe place and then it became an ugly yellow green Nissan with a small engine and power to the front wheels. It's a very boring car, and therefor will not turn out to be a wise investment, hence your deposit money is devalued and gone.
As you all k ow from the fine print, deposits are no refundable and product quality is not guaranteed (product in general not guaranteed either)

Thanks and have a nice day.

We know damn well we won't ever see these grill get produced, so an Infinity is a possibility.

Very cool, sent PM.  BTW, if you at the deposit phase may be a good idea to post to BB to generate additional interest.  Along w/asking to be PM for final pricing & estimated completion time frame, possible list composite being used so folks can plan choosing finish.

You think?  He's talking about using deposit money to buy a car and that the project will never get done yet someone wants to send him money?   :slap:

Dammit!  I took it as serious (nevermind my PM GJ). :banghead: And please send my 5K back!

Haven't been posting to this thread due to the request for patience.  Hey I waited what 3 years for Aftershocks recessed grills so I can be equally patient for these.

Though I do see merit in finding out if folks are serious about investing in having Kappa custom parts produced in return for discounts or future profits.  As it relates to Kappa products now, I'm beginning to think if members of the community don't band together the future of Kappa custom parts is very bleak indeed.

Normally I would of posted this in video of the day but it really speaks about how rapid prototyping is turning into reality for niche vehicle production or even the possibility of one-off custom parts, heck maybe in 10 years someone will produce recessed grills.:poke:

In all honesty, are deposits being taken? I can't seem to find a final iteration. What kind of deposit is being asked? Etc. etc.

Thanks in advance :)

No, deposits have not been taken for the recessed grills. I believe there are a lot of people though waiting for that to happen.
