No kidding SlyBob! I wish this vendor wasn't so damn slow. Probably the second worst vendor on this forum. It's always tease tease tease with the fancy drawings and the CG imagines and all that crap. I'm about to ask for my investment money back as I'm not sure this project will ever leave the mind of the developer.

Please understand there is no vendor involved here. Just a guy who has no interest in this product for his own car, working on a project in his limited spare time in an effort to help out members of this forum. Manufacturing could be years away or never. This was an "idea" thread.

Today is Thursday August 6th on July 14 th.

The article above actually gets it wrong. The body of the car isn't being 3D printed. Here's what's actually going on here: He's using the 3D printer to make a plug of the cars body which will then be used to create a mold which will in turn be used to cast the replica body of the car in fiberglass. The 3D printer is facilitating the process but it isn't actually printing the car.

I can get you a file that you can print right now, it's just going to be what I already posted pictures of.

I will try and bring a self executable file of what I have to the Mod Meet so people can see first hand what it looks like and can move it around to see from different angles.

I may get one and start printing (if someone would be willing to share their hard work in designing them) if it works, we could print them out at cost (or whatever) for people that want them?

If you are looking to get a printer Gadget, make sure you get one that has a table that will print each grill. Many of the cheaper ones have too small a table to print a project of that size.
