Jim that looks great compared to our roads, about 12 miles of whiteness. Unsalted roads were better than the treated ones, snow was just blowing off the travel lanes. Main road here was salted and all that did was prevent the snow from blowing away, surface was completely white. These same tires did very well last winter, but now there's only a little tread left and my car is sitting over an inch lower on stiffer shocks and springs.

Yeah, the roads were not bad. My tires have 18K on them, and are in decent shape.

Definitely makes a difference.

My Dunlop Star Specs were SCARY in the 1" dusting we had yesterday.
If I didn't have a second vehicle, I would definitely need a second set of tires

in 4th gear i hit 30 psi and in 5th gear 3000+rpm i hit 32 psi  :o
to be honest... i $hit my pants up and after a while i let my foot off the gas. i know the load is too much (having such a long 5th gear) and i didn't want to push it more, before Vince checks my logs.
car has more power than last tune, but on lower rpms the boost is limited to avoid surge... got to work on this...
my solo certainly threw some impressive flames, i could tell by the sound as it backfired, probably too rich mixture from Vince so that it is safe.

generally, 32 psi felt like:

 :yay: :drive:      :o  :woohoo: :award:

You really should consider a water/meth system for those pressures.

Good luck!

thx for the tip Yogi, i suppose you are right!
for the moment i asked Vince to drop the boost to a maximum of 30 psi.
if the big wheel upgrade works for me, water meth is my next mod (damn..too much money!)

next time i hit 32 psi, i will have a videocamera ready!

Firestone Winterforce rock through powder and snow/slush ruts. I had to pass some slower traffic in lane 3 while they sat in lane two. Not legal to pass on right, shucks, that left lane had a inch of powder that just rooster tailed in it's 13F dryness. :)

I would not wanna push that without pistons dude :)

i tottally agree with you Kenny. it is too much and has to get limited up to 27 psi maximum.

i must be setting some kind of record here...
hit 33 psi today with my new tune! :o
car rewarded me with a majestic limp mode, code p0087 Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too Low
cleared the code and everything was back to normal. didn't push it again though till i get my new tune.

next tune, will have limited max psi up to 27 psi.

I wonder if that is because of the atmospheric conditions where you live Arabas.
SImilar to how people in Colorado run higher boost to get the same HP as people in lower altitudes.

Wow, dead battery after 4 days?? you have something open.

I'm prepping the jeep for some serious work today and my battery was dead as well, but it's been off for a month.
I'm actually removing 3rd party harness so I am hoping that was the issue.
Fawking Jeep is ridiculously dirty underneath.  had to put safety glasses on just to keep the dirt oil and debris out of my eyes.

Elf       They just replaced it 2 weeks ago . 1st time it went dead was after they put New Turbo . They might have borken or shorted out something and is draining power
