Mike, did you still have the stock radio?  I thought you had replaced that a while back?

We have this stuff called Bubble wrap at work.  I should be able to insulate the part so there is no chance of damage.
Please PM me your address and I'll get this on it's way.

The Forgestar wheels actually aren't that expensive. A good set of forged wheels would be though. The Forgestars aren't actually a forged wheel.

Looking forward to seeing them Steve.

I just found a thread in Corvette Forum where a guy claimed he could eliminate the TPMS.  I did a bit research and apparently he could reprogram any GM control module.  This opens up possibility eliminating the DRL (Z06), the auto headlight (Silverado, Z06, and Kappa), and TPMS (Z06 and Kappa).

Maybe he can reprogram the HVAC control module to eliminate the automated function such as AC compressor must be engaged and the air cannot be recirculated when using defrost function.  Maybe the TC/AH can have a default mode "completely OFF".  And, maybe, the low beam on the Silverado can be turned on along with high beam.  Heck, I'll have the fog light on all cars to stay on with high beam.

Interesting. I wonder if he can program the outside temp on our DIC in the Solstice.   :idk:

As far as here in Ontario Canada it is illegal to have the fog lights on with the hi-beams. Seems you can only have 4 lights on at a time and having the fog lights on with the fog lights would be 6.

That's my understanding anyway.

Is there a temperature sensor for exterior temperature in a Kappa ?

For Kappa, low beams are turned off when high beams are turned on.  Turning on both at the same time is asking for melted bulb.  It is indeed illegal to have 6 on at the same time as in the case of my Z06, CTS-V, and Silverado.
