USPS subsidies its package delivery prices by increasing the postage stamp price and it is subsidied by the US Federal Government.

DRM,
All the statements above are correct, except for this one. Up until the last couple of years the USPS was the only part of the federal government that generated a profit. It doesn't get subsidies from the feds, that's why it has been bleeding red ink for the last couple of years. It totally paid all of it's own bills prior to this. (I worked for them for 22 years) The other interesting part of this is that the only reason that they are bleeding red ink now is that they are the only company that has to forward fund the retirement of all it's employees.

Now back to the original thread.

Thank you for the correction, I was referring to the USPS covering its losses by borrowing money from the Treasury.

I had dropped my car off at a friend house the other day for him to work some of his  :buff: magic.
I really would like to see him up against some of the great detailers on this forum.
Anywho, he charged me a ridiculously small amount for the level of work he did, so the next time we all go out, he will be unable to use his money at whatever establishment we are at.
What killed me, was he filled in and fixed a bunch of chips.

Here are the results, just look at it shine.!!!!!!!

This last one looks like it was touched by an Angel......A Fallen ONE!!!!!!

Looks sharp Elff!

Went to the powder coater today and we're all set. Gunmetal powder with a semi-gloss clear over it. I'll have them next week some time.

Can't wait to ge the Ultraleggeras installed. It'll be great that they're all the same colour now.  :D  I still can't believe the deal I got on those things. Even with the cost of the powder coating they're still cheaper than they would have been if I'd just bought them off the rack. They weren't used wheels either.
Just trying to do my part...

Got my new head unit in today along with the GPS reciever, but they forgot my rear view camera.  I e-mailed them and they already shipped it out.  So far it looks like it's going to be an easy install, but they didn't really provide any directions, only a wiring diagram.  The hard part is going to be figuring out the bells and whisltes.  I've got an external sound card on the way and have to order a few other pieces/parts before I get down to business.  I also want to start ordering my speakers and amps so I can do it all at once.

Of course, I'm still waiting on my Houshold Goods to get here with all my tools!

McQuiver would only need a paper clip and a stick of gum.
:)

That's going to be a real neat install.  Can't wait to see how it works out. what sound card are you using with it?

If I drove a POS jeep, maybe that would work!  :poke: I'm using this as the sound card:

I am off ealry today to head up to Anaheim to catch a few Red Sox games, so I'm only a few hours away from having a drink with you Def.  I'd start now, but the folks on Camp Pendleton tend to frown on that while I'm still working....

My humble additions were the armrest and console leather pads from JDM, a chrome solstice GXP license plate bracket (rear), the black pontiac tire valve stem covers, the Kappasphere door lock caps, Pontiac solstice key ring.

I already have the Trifecta tune, horn mod, sidelight blinker mod, stubby carbon fiber antenna mod, kappa storage 3 piece kits, clayed the vehicle, waxed.

Thinking of taking chiclets off, using the turtle wax black box, black gloss dah kit, black gloss windshield frame and tulip kit,

Any thoughts?

Awesome first post SPANKurMAMA!  Welcome to Kappa Performance!  You will really reap the rewards of the Windrestricter, Carol and I had ours installed at the Colorado NASSM.  It works great with cutting down the wind and the fact that it is lighted adds to the enjoyment.  One of the best mods you can add, for sure! :usa:
